Anthony Poindexter and Vincent Brown are going to UConn.

According to sources, Poindexter will be defensive coordinator at UConn after spending the past three seasons as the Cavaliers safeties coach. Poindexter was a hard-hitting defensive back at Virginia from 1994-98.
Also set to join coach Bob Diaco's staff from Virginia's Vincent Brown. Brown will coach on the defensive side of the ball. At Virginia, Brown was defensive line coach and assistant special teams coordinator. Brown, nicknamed "The Undertaker," played eight seasons for the New England Patriots before retiring in 1995.
And according to Doug Doughty, Wake Forest is interested in Chip West.
Would think #UVa would want to keep Poindexter. Who are the recruiters if Poindexter and West (hearing Wake Forest) leave?— Douglas Doughty (@DoughtySports) January 3, 2014
Virginia could lose its two best recruiters and a well thought of position coach.
Is the writing on the wall for coaches at Virginia? Will this affect how they close their 2014 class? Might it alter the athletic director's position on retaining Mike London?

Comments
LOLUVA the writing is on the wall and has been for some time.
by 'some time' do you mean 'ten years'?
I was gonna mention Mike London's CFA-Bowl year, but more and more that looks like a fluke.
Naturally this comes right after Andrew Brown signed his financial aid papers and was made official to UVA. Good looking out, Coach Time-Cop.
lol REAL dick move haha He coulda signed with the good guys
This also begs the question who in their right mind wants to fill these guys positions at UVA. It would only be someone who went to the school or someone with no other opportunities with another BCS team
Even by signing the financial aid paperwork, Brown isn't locked into UVA until he shows up for classes to start the spring. There are several big recruits that have signed the financial paperwork to all of their top five schools to keep their options open. All the papers do is allow the coaching staff to actually discuss the recruit.
correct.
Ya it's not a good sign for your university when your coaches leave for less than a top gig at a lesser conference.
London's tears are falling down,
Falling down, falling down.
London's tears are falling down,
No more time outs.
I've never received an applause from the great one. Now my life is complete.
I wish I could upvote this several times. Made me lol
excellent
This... just....
This
Writing on the wall indeed.
Does mean quin Blanding may flip???
I'd say it's unlikely, but ya never know.
If he does, it won't be to us IMO. I don't believe he's interested in Blacksburg at all.
Also saw where poindexter was Tim settles main recruiter.
As I see it just a logical choice to leave a sinking ship no big financial incentive to stick around a la TOB.
The question/problem for the time cop and AD is how to replace them. Who wants to be associated with this dumpster fire if you're worth a damn?
So they likely end up with someone with no experience or a failure elsewhere-damn I hate when that happens
So, does anyone think Nnadi will keep his reported appointment to visit UVA on January 31st?

He should keep it. And wear all maroon everything for the entirety of the trip.
Wait a second! Poindexter didn't hit THAT hard.
TimeCop never ceases to amaze me. Here he is with what appear to be well sought after coaching talent that are defecting to other programs like rats on the proverbial sinking ship, and yet he still managed to over-shadow them with his own terrible coaching so much so I had always assumed the rest of the coaches were as bad or worse.
They HAD the best 3rd down defense? (Of course we're tied for #3 with FSU behind Louisville & Michigan St.)
To be fair, we haven't put up a lot of points on UVa since 38-0.
So RIP "Orange Crush" Defense? #LOLUVa
You mean the "Third Down Orange Crush Defense"
Excellent news! Hopefully all of these coaches leave followed by their two 5-star recruits! That will put a fork in their pre-season hype machine.
Coming soon to a Lane Stadium North office:
