In OP's defense, I'd heard the news but never seen an actual reliable source accompanying it (which I appreciate from this post). I think other people who mentioned it before were pay members of certain sites and for those reasons, couldn't share a hard source.

The tweet makes it sound like there was some question whether he was still a VT commit after his season at Hargrave. He's always been a VT commit, and there was never any deviation to from the plan to prep at Hargrave then attend VT...

The only question was whether or not he would qualify - the fact that he did qualify is what those message board & twitter sources confirmed a week or two ago.
