"I changed staff here last year and I really wanted to bring Ralph here, but our situation was that I kind of needed to get some new blood in here, some people that hadn't been connected to me along the way. I think he was interested. Like I said, I wanted to hire him. It just wasn't the right time. I just needed to branch out a little bit."

Frank taking care of business and understanding what he needs to do like the BOSS he is.

Fridge > O'Cainspringsome combined.

True Hokies STICK IT IN!!!

STICK IT IN Army of Virginia Tech

Fosterball

Most coaches would not be so candid about their decisions (even a year later)
Frank knows he would have made alot more headlines if he had hired Ralph,
let alone having a former HC as your OC is a plus. He did what was in the best
interest of the program- no doubt, stand up guy, that HCFB!

interesting stat from Wikipedia:

Since Beamer's first season in 1987, a player at every position on the defensive unit has scored at least one touchdown, and 35 different players have scored touchdowns on Virginia Tech's special teams

Every defensive position...most coaches would be happy simply with 11 Def.TDs in that span. GO HOKIES!

Whew!....that was close!

Take the shortest route to the ball and arrive in bad humor.

I think everyone is overlooking the most important thing, The Fridge let his daughter have a fall wedding.

I guess for a coach's daughter that's the ultimate act of rebellion.

A decade on TKP and it's been time well spent.

... and daddy baby's wedding takes precendent over baby daddy's career.
Thankfully he doesnt do anything important where other people's careers rely on him... oh wait.
