This is bad news. Many thought he was a Tech lock.
In brighter news, things are looking for 5* defensive end Jalen Dalton. He said that both his parents attended VT last week and he was open to every school but UVA (smart man.) Let's hope his parents can sway him the right way. Here is his 247 profile. Don't be fooled by VT being listed as cool, as that should change soon. VT has a very good shot and they could be the favorite for him right now.

Too bad. If he comes around, though, I'm sure the coaches will show him as much love as he wants.
That's not exactly what he's saying. There's a long way to go before the 2015 Signing Day.
Honestly, if we're not even in the top 10, I don't even see it as much of a loss
Make it outside the top 11 and by golly I never even wanted the guy!

Agreed. At least he eliminated us early so we can now target other WR prospects.
Two Jalen's in this post. Is that a common name among 16-17 year olds? The Dalton kid looks like a stud. He will be very welcome in Blacksburg.
The root of the Jalen name trend in this generation. Between his notoriety at Michigan as part of the fab five and then his pro career with three consecutive Eastern Conference finals alongside Reggie Miller.

Duke, Rutgers, Kentucky, Maryland, and WVU. WOW. I understand there are many factors that play into kids' decisions, but WOW.
I had the same thought. But it's his choice to make.
I think we eliminated him way more than him eliminating us.
What is your reasoning behind that?
That's why you never pay attention to "leans" before April, maybe July, with junior recruits. Holmes was a VT lean this time last year.
We're only taking 1 at the most 2 receivers this year. He is not the guy Moorehead wants.
