After the spring game, Coach Beamer insists that the QB and RB positions have not been decided yet. Michael Brewer and Chris Durkin will all get their chances to impress when they enroll in the first summer session. Beamer believes that the team has a lot of good running backs but needs to quickly find three great ones.
My conclusion is that its going to be interesting competition on offense to find the key starters and competition will make everyone better and ready for the first game.

I concur
I should have concurred. Why didn't I concur??
If all else fails, Sam Rogers can just fill both roles at once.
With his athleticism , Bucky Hodges might be able to play QB, RB, TE, WR when season starts.
At the rate that he's growing, he will be large enough to play all four of those positions at once by then.
Thats an accurate statement. lol
We have to be careful that he doesn't grow too fast though. We don't want the NCAA to create a rule where the other team is allowed to field two of their own players on top of eachother anytime he takes the field.
Not much talk about Shai McKenzie...is he in the running? (pun intended)
Conventional wisdom is a redshirt. We have plenty of RBs and he's coming off an ACL tear. There's no reason to try to put him on the field this year.
Ok thanks was not aware of the injury makes sense . hes got major potential . Big with alot of downfield vision.
