I was happy to see that as well. Really hard to respect a guy who comes in with an attitude of, "Well, last year was crap, but I'm here now so we'll be better."

Well, we're all hoping he'll take care of the ball and make a few plays, but there's really only so much he can do about the offensive line, running game, etc. -My point is, I'm glad he's taking ownership of the situation and the team without declaring himself the savior of the program.

Absolutely love how he speaks in regards to the team. Its We're, shows a huge amount of confidence and leadership we have seemed to lack I think. Its great that players are welcoming him in and its only a matter of time before we see MB12 throws some bombs..or brews (wait can I say that?) to our WR's.

Hopefully Fuller and Facyson can 'lock down' DeBerry and convince him to play for the good guys. I have faith anytime a Fuller is involved that things will work out.

Would be amazing to get DeBerry but definitely a long shot. He'd be a great stud end IMO. Really like hearing that he has a great relationship with Shane Beamer.
There's been some big time DL talent in the state the past few years. Hopefully VT is due this year to cash in on one of the top DE talents in Sweat or DeBerry after missing out the past couple of years.

Thanks, Andy. The Edmunds/Facyson injury updates are encouraging.
The day Andy Bitter publishes an article referring to UVa as LOLUVA will make my life..probably
I'm actually REALLY becoming partial to "YOU!va" at least until Head Ball Cop gets the can
"YOU!va"
Perfect!!
you know he is backing away going SWAGGGGG
I thought the part about Brewer being up to 205 lbs was significant. He's only listed at 185, which I really didn't think was right anyway.
On the hokiesports roster he's been listed at 6'0 202 pounds

I like that Michael Brewer is taking ownership of last years mistakes even though he was not there.

Even though that's what we're all hoping for.

I like his confidence. I would rather have him come in believing he can change things for the better. Seems like he is fitting in well.
The hunter in this guy can only be a positive mental attribute for a D-1 QB. I mean:
Don't make me go off on dove hunting again. I don't think the community can take another Terry Cruz gif so soon.
Why not? We can never have enough of the "Filet Mignon" of the sky...
