The U never fails to disappoint. Recent report is indicating that the University of Miami is suspending its QB Kevin Olsen for the ACC season opener against Louisville for a failed drug test.

I just saw that article and got a good chuckle
We need those shirts on each seat of the stadium for the Thursday night game against Miami.
Did Brad Kaaya enroll early for them? If not they are really in trouble at QB
Could be in a Heaps of Trouble...
Hmm. Is there even a Ray of hope for them this year?
Doubt it. But they might have to eat Crow.
They are in trouble at QB regardless. Is Miami Bak?
So...wonder what Mama Giraffe says about their chances beating Louisville with a 4th string QB.
Miami is just becoming a program where Head Coaches go to kill their careers.
At some point, it's hard to even blame them. Butch Davis was the last coach there who I think had any active negative influence on the actions of the players and boosters. Everyone since him has run into the shredder his legacy created.
Lack of institutional control is baked into the culture of Miami, both the University and the Community. There are just too many temptations for the athletes. Until that changes, or until they hire another coach that is willing to break all the rules again, they will most likely never be back.
Miami defeating Louisville is looking more and more like a Pipe Dream.
A Miami QB failed a drug test?! Wow, maybe da U is back....
Drug failures, rape allegations, boatz and hoez. Thug U is coming bak and MNC's follow, its science...
No surprise. He is G-Reg's brother, one of the old 7th Floor Crew at the U.
Maybe its just me but it seems like there has been a lot of suspensions in the ACC this year, along with injuries. Miami's QB on here, Pitts CB just was suspended for the year, Pitt's DT done for the year, and our injuries. I am sure I am missing a lot of other players from the ACC, but it just seems like there is a lot more between the two this year to me. Maybe I am just making something out of nothing...
I don't think it's unique to the ACC. Charlie Strong just permanently dismissed 3 guys from Texas and suspended at least 3 (or was it 5?) more.
yea I know its not unique to the ACC, I just pay more attention to it because of being a Hokie. I am just saying injuries and suspensions in the past years of the ACC never seemed as high as this year. But again, I could just be caught in the moment
Gut feeling, I agree with you. But overall, I think it's just a larger trend in college football. Not sure why, but it seems that way to me.
