Saint Louis Rams s DC Gregg Williams has challenged coach Bud Foster and his defensive staff in # Ice Water Bucket for ALS. Knowing Foster he is likely to accept the challenge,

Foster will probably game plan for it, Dadi is going to sack the bucket and Fuller is going to intercept the water before it can hit him.

Ice water flows through Bud's veins. The challenge is what he calls a normal day's shower. I expect he will up the stakes by having Sam Rogers hack off the top of an iceberg and Bud will split it with his head, showering ice and snow all over Hooville (you know, so they can keep practicing snow angels).

Bud Foster will do more than accepting the Ice Bucket Challenge. He will shut down the whole St Louis Offense.

Bud Foster can look at water and turn it into ice.

yep

He accepted but the Ice turned to water and evaporated as soon as it left the bucket toward Bud's head.
Bud walked away dry.

So sublimation?

He's no good to me dead.

"Bud accepted but Sublimation..." just doesn't have the same artistic feel.

I'm wondering if any of the people doing the challenge actually donate as well as take the ice bucket. It seems silly to me that it's a "Hey, donate money or dump ice water over yourself to raise awareness." Awareness is nice, but it's no donation.

While it started as "Donate or dump" it's now grown into "Donate small amount and dump or donate large amount." As of last Sunday, it had raised over $9 million, an $8 million increase in donations raised during the same period last year without the challenge.

Edit: See GuitarMan's more updated numbers.

Nice! Thanks for the info.

I was talking with a friend about this a couple of days ago. The proof is in the pudding - the ALS Association has raised $11.6M more this year than during the same time period last year, $13.3M vs. $1.7M. Something is working. When I was challenged, I did it and donated, also because a friend of mine is raising money for an ALS walk for her mother, who was recently diagnosed. Most of the people I know are doing the bucket and donating. But really, when it comes to charities, any exposure for the cause is good.

Im sure you can accept the challenge and donate at the same time. The point is to raise awareness of the disease. Frank Beamer has done it and challenged Bruce Arians to do the same. Bud Foster can do both.

Im curious to what would happen if someone challenged Sam Rogers to an ice bucket challenge.

@VTimHokie85

I would hope they get a chance to explain the rules before Sam beat them to death with an ice bucket.

You wouldn't be able to find an ice bucket. They would all hide.

Leonard. Duh.

Williams needs to tread carefully here.

I don't know exactly what happened the last time someone dumped something cold and wet on Bud, but the giraffe looks like she's about to cry, and the guy in the middle who can't take his eyes off the poor soul that did it looks like he's going to have nightmares about it.

Gregg Williams died today, he was attacked by a Bud
