Virginia Tech Athletics has a Facebook page that has posted twice today about the GT game. Both posts have brought out replies about the "season being over", "lucky if they beat UVA" etc. what has the fan base become?

Not sure what else there is to say other than there are a lot of people on Facebook around the world...and there are a lot of stupid people around the world.
Well, TBH, it's become an SEC fan base. Unrealistic expectations, demands for perfection, absolute anguish to ridiculous levels after any loss. Not saying it's good, it just is what it is.
Social media has always been known for the vocal minority. Pay attention to your news feed and notice how if you have a diverse group of friends that 5% of them make up well over half of the updates. They're also mostly fringe views or people that complain about everything.
the Fairweather fans, .. who I'm sure are completely oblivious to this website.
One guy said, "what's the point of going to the game they won't make the NC this year! I get it that's the top goal, but only one team gets that each year.
When did we think we were going to the NC game?? Oh man those people are delusional. I mean I think this team has come and passed our expectations, well mine at least. The obvious talent that we have on the field is exciting. They may be young but it's exiting to see them play and get better and make plays. It's sad to see such unrealistic views from our fanbase. I mean we definately have a chance to win every game we play in. Sometimes you just get beat. We've only been undefeated in the regular season in one year.....one. I mean usually only one or two teams in the entire country go undefeated in the regular season.
If you go back a few posts on TKP you'll find those people
A world without FaceBook is a world I wish I could live in.
the next big thing!
It is the same as any review found online. Its only the people who had a really good or really bad experience that post.
