Just saw some local national weather service people tweet and I couldn't believe my eyes and yet...there's a legitimate 50/50 shot we could have snowfall this weekend depending on this cold front and next system, for those of you travelling I'll get the weather report out as soon as it looks promising one way or the other.

"Go home Blacksburg weather, you're drunk"...said by me everyday from October-April while in college.
I suppose since it will be November by then, we would be within the window of opportunity. I sure could use one more Saturday in the 60's, though. Guess I better start digging around for my gloves.
Horse, I'm coming up to State College for the game this weekend. Legitimately looks like it will be snow then rain in HV on Saturday morning.
Better bundle up and get your Horse Coat on!
Oh yeah? What's the plan.
Whoa, too early for that.
That's what she said.
More jokes than you could shake a Wang at here.
Set up on a tee!
Ladies and gentlemen, the forum moderator.
Junior year (2008), it snowed the last week of October when I was reffing flag football. That was a special level of sad and cold.
I really disliked those refs after they penalized us for chest bumping after a TD.
Good thing you didn't do 3 pelvic thrusts
noice
Yeah I'm thinking it'll be a tad warm, due to this weeks weather and it being possibly on the tail end of the storm, to stick even if it does snow but still just giving the early heads up
If it snows, I'll be in a kilt.
Pics, or it didn't happen!

On 2nd thought, no photos please...
Going by the history I can recall -- and somebody can check me on this -- the last time we had true winter weather in Blacksburg before Thanksgiving, we upset the Cousins.
But three years before that, we lost to Syracuse.
A high in the low 40's with a 50/50 shot of rain/snow mix. Gonna be a lot of empty seats this weekend with that forecast, a 12:30 start the morning after Halloween and the recent struggles of the team.
On a positive note, BC should feel like they are playing at home where they are much worse than on the road.
I only get one trip to Lane a season and the last 3 trips were in early-mid Oct and it was hot as balls all 3 times and last year against UNC I jumped and cheered so hard during Sandman I almost passed out afterward before kickoff. I'm looking forward to the cold weather for the BC game but I may not be saying the same by halftime Saturday cause I can still remember the frigid horrors that was the Duke game in 2008 I remember my toes starting to get numb just on the walk to the Stadium.
