If we somehow get him and a couple other of the Sweat, Settle, Dalton group, I am completely ignoring game results and current record as influences on recruits, or at least the vast majority of them. We had trouble getting good players to come to Tech at the tail end of years where 10 WINS was a given. Now we've been clearly down for at least 3 years (Not to mention losing/blown-out every time a major recruit visits this year), but somehow we are all of a sudden contending for great talent . Hopefully they are seeing stuff behind the scenes that suggests that Tech will be back to business soon...
Kind of explains UVA's previously unexplainable success in the area.
I believe that can be explained by the quasi-legitimate group known as The Thoroughbreds. I think most of UVa's "stud" commits of late have had strong links to them (especially those from the 757). Recruitniks, please correct me if I'm wrong.

After what seems like a quiet month or two it seems like things are heating up, some good and bad.
Good - I am super excited about some of the momentum with GT, Settle, Dalton, and even the latest news on this Hines kid (seems like a great player).
Bad - I am really scared a couple of really good solid players might flip. I was really excited about getting Whitehead, while we always have great starting DT's it seems like we never really have the depth we need, even if we get settle I think Whitehead could be a hell of player he lit up some camps I remeber. Also, it sounds like Cunningham is looking around and now Williamson (a player we thought we might get) is looking around as well.
Wanted to get any updates/thoughts you guys had on these latest momentum swings.
We feeling like we can make a real run at Hines? Kid would be a tremendous compliment in the backfield.
Can't confirm but one of the twitter handles tagged in this tweet is the LSU recruiting analyst. Hate to have to compete with LSU.
Oof... if they got both Toliver and Taylor, that just wouldn't be fair.... but if we got Toliver and Taylor to be coached by Gray.....
