I'm out here in Germany and will definitely be flying back for the game. The cheapest tickets I can find are about $270. I'm going with an OSU buddy of mine and he thinks it's best if we wait closer to game time. People with experience buying tickets to big games at Lane: should I pull the trigger now or follow my friends advice and wait? (Hopefully this thread can help others as well)

If I were you and I wanted to guarantee myself a ticket where I'm taking a big risk with the whole flying from Germany to VA for the game, I'd buy season tickets. They are still available in the South Endzone and in the upper East Stands for $350. Sell every other game ticket for $35, a price that almost guarantees that you will sell the ticket regardless of opponent, and the UVA ticket for $60 and you are basically paying $150 for the OSU ticket which is probably close to the best price you may find unless you try to scalp on gameday. Just my $0.02.
EDIT: UVA is away, but you could easily sell ACC games at a higher price than $35.

So, LOLUVa is away (do they include a ticket to Lane North in the season ticket package?) I don't see you getting anything for Furman. No one is going to buy a ticket online or however you'd try to sell it for a game where you can drop a couple bucks to a scalper to sit in one of thousands of empty seats. That said, $35 would definitely sell for Pitt, NCSU, Duke, and UNC
My mistake on the UVA game. You could easily get $40 or more on the other games other than Furman. Still cheaper than $270 for the cheapest on Stubhub at the moment. Realistically, you could probably sell Pitt and UNC for $50 and then NC State and Duke for $45. Either way, my point remains that at the current prices, you might as well buy season tickets and sell the rest at discounted prices and you'll still pay less than a single ticket for OSU on the secondary market.
If it were me, I'd want the security of having a ticket in advance. Then you can focus on important things on gameday, like tailgating.
