Shyrone Stith, Todd Washington, and Corey Moore just went on Dwight Vick's podcast and really let loose., Moore especially (I know, shocking).
From what they're saying they love Pry but, as Moore put it: Pry is trying to win the ACC with a staff that's barely above MAC level.
Really sobering listen.
Only one FBS game on Thursday night, South Alabama at App State.
Former Hokie Jack Hollifield is the starting center for App State. South Alabama's running game has been really impressive so far.
Didnt see a post from GGC and we're running out of time, so I fiigured Id start one....
Greg Schiano chops wood with a banana.
Greg Schiano can kiss my ass 'cause as a NJ taxpayer, I pay his salary.
And you say: 'what'???
What is the very 1st thing that comes to mind...

Tennessee will add a 10% "talent fee" on all football tickets, starting next season. This fee will go to the players, helping fund the proposed revenue share w/the players. UT estimates per-seat price increase averaging 4.5% for entire stadiumβ Brett McMurphy (@Brett_McMurphy) September 17, 2024
Just when you thought the arms race couldn't get any worse, now they're going to start taxing fans at the gate to pay for players.
Talks between Clemson, Florida State and the ACC have ramped up in recent weeks, according to sources, on a proposal that would allot a greater share of revenue to schools based on brand valuation and television ratings, as well as potentially alter the expiration of the league's grant of rights -- which currently runs through 2036 -- in exchange for the Tigers and Seminoles dropping their lawsuits against the conference.
The proposal, which was formulated by Clemson and Florida State and discussed by the league's presidents during Tuesday's regularly scheduled meeting, includes additional money going to schools with better ratings success in football and basketball.
This is for tailgate questions and arrangements for 2024.
For those new, many TKP people like to tailgate in lot 18, which is the Duckpond lot. We park near the guardrail closest to the pond. It's pretty much an open invite.
If you look at the depth chart on OurLads for Old Dominion's football team, you won't see the name Quinn Henicle's name listed on the two-deep. That's because, despite what the announcing team had said, Henicle was likely the fourth string quarterback on the Monarchs roster, behind starter Grant Wilson, Boston College transfer Emmett Morehead, and last night's starter Colton Joseph. The true freshman from Downingtown, PA was the last scholarship quarterback left on the roster when he replaced Joseph after two possessions. After a short three-and-out drive, all it took was one miscommunication for Henicle to win a footrace and kickstart 15 minutes of sheer panic in the hearts of Hokie nation.
I think the postgame pressers tend to have a little less coach speak, and Pry talks a bit more openly about scheme or specific plays/personnel. Anything with quotes around it is a direct quote, everything else is paraphrased.
The coach speak:
Three really good quarters of football...but that second...ugh. Either way it's a 3 score win in a house of horrors so FAMMMMMMM
FAM!
The Hokies head to Norfolk for a matchup that historically, on paper, should always have been an easy win. However, reality has been anything but. In 2018, Virginia Tech traveled to Old Dominion as a four touchdown favorite, hot off a big wins at Florida State and FCS William & Mary. Disaster struck leaving the Hokies without their starting Quarterback Josh Jackson, and star Defensive End Trevon Hill following a 49-35 loss to backup QB (and future seminary student) Blake LaRussa. Then again in 2022, the first game under new head coach Brent Pry, the Hokies (only six point favorites) traveled to Norfolk for their second road loss of the series.

The big takeaway here is that teams are lining up in zone 81% of snaps.
The TSL podcast talked about this as well (unsure if the source is the same), but I found their analysis to be interesting (Link, 18:10ish for Drones Discussion):
ODU QB Grant Wilson is questionable for the VT game. "Grant is going to continue to be evaluated," coach Rahne said.WR Diante Vines praised backup QB Colton Joseph: "A little Johnny Manziel-esque sometimes when he tries to run out of the pocket and throw a nice little ball." pic.twitter.com/fdSDOu2jCSβ Kolby Crawford (@kolby_crawford) September 12, 2024
This is fine. Everything about this is fine.
Adds Boise State, Colorado State, SDSU and Fresno State.
Good morning! It's a beautiful new day π#BackThePac pic.twitter.com/jfIU1Gk22uβ Pac-12 Conference (@pac12) September 12, 2024
Who else would they add to salvage the conference?
Hawaii?
On one hand, I hope these suits go through and every athletic department is bankrupt in short order. Burn it to the ground- You guys wanted the NFL- so eat it. On the other hand, I see no grounds for this whatsoever. NIL wasn't legal/permissible when they played. I can see Shoelace wanting money though- since he sucks and never did anything - but of course since he can throw a football (sort of) he is entitled to millions in America. Because- Go Blue of course.

Good morning, fam.
Assuming we don't lay a third egg in Norfolk (which would be grounds for dissolving the football program on the spot), I'm headed to the Rutgers game with a first-timer in tow. I want to give him the full experience.
We will be traveling down from a conference in Harrisonburg that wraps up Saturday morning. What time do folks think is a realistic departure? Game is 330pm (the best kick imo) and Google maps says 2 hrs and 15 minutes. I'm wondering what recent experience has been traveling 64/81 on GameDay? It has been a long time since I drove that route the day of and I imagine things have changed.
