Good to see Motley throw an accurate deep ball.

Agreed. Motley looked good on the QB keeper as well. I'm feeling good about him as a backup. If he puts enough together to take the starting job, all the better. Nothing whatsoever against Brewer -- I think we're just fine with him under center, and think he'll be a lot better as a second year starter.

Just love competition, and getting our best players on the fied.

Guilty

I did, out of hope that it would have been different from the youtube highlight video posted earlier. I should have known, considering the angle of the picture was eerily similar to that of the youtube video.

Leg for "should have known" instead of "should of known"

A decade on TKP and it's been time well spent.

Present.

-What we do is, if we need that extra push, you know what we do? -Put it up to fully dipped? -Fully dipped. Exactly. It's dork magic.

i have severe tech challenges

A Brewer injury giving Motley a chance seems like deja vu. Should make for an interesting summer

Those first 2 plays really made me thing the O-line was clicking nicely. Great run blocking at point of attack.

Then the rest of the highlights it seemed like the run was stuffed, a lot of time with great hair.

Hard to tell much from the video since it was such a tight angle.

But fantastic to see our boys out there on the grass. Fall cannot come soon enough.

mcmillians feet on the spin move wow super quick

McMillan's moves remind me of Ryan a Williams and on his TD run his speed seems comparable to David Wilson

If you are talking about the play close to the end of the clip - that's Steven Peoples (#32 not #34) - walk on from Galax, He broke a ton of HS records if I remember correctly.

McMillan seems legit and has a nice bounce to him. Reid looked like he could be a player. I really loved the execution of the dump off to Jerome Wright. That is a play that I'll keep the chains moving and keep the linebackers on their toes. Would liked to have seen Trey some. I hope he is able to bust some balls this year. Go Hokies!

If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, it must be a duck. Everything I've seen in the last two years tells me that this program is heading back to where we belong. I LOVE the fact that we have a dizzying number of viable options at tailback. McMillian looks nasty, Reid looks solid, from all accounts McClease is a gamebreaker. JC and Trey are veteran talents that we know can get the job done. Oh and Shai (probably?) and Marsh who are both starting quality backs who will eventually return. Who should start? fuck it, just spin the wheel and put someone in.

"How you doin', Randy?"

Now, just to be clear, you mean spin the wheel before every play, right? Keep em guessing?

Yep. And on THIS wheel, there is no BANKRUPT tab.

"How you doin', Randy?"

McMillian looks like the real deal. He's patient, has good vision, and has great break away speed. Reminds me a lot of Ryan Williams. *smirk emoji*

Bucky Hodges looks bigger. Scary thought. Hopefully it doesn't slow down his dancing moves on OSU end zone.

Of course Bucky looks bigger, doesn't he always?

I found myself checking to see who was wearing 32. Peoples looks like he has power, vision and patience. Looks impressive in highlights. Reid also looks like a beast on film. Plenty of options in backfield

Win one for the Beamer...

Peoples looked like he could hold his own in that scrimmage. Could he be our secret weapon?
