The Key Podcast: July 10, 2015 - ESPN Blacksburg Interview with Kevin Weiss

A myriad of topics relevant to the Virginia Tech Hokies were talked about.

[Mark Umansky]

I was a guest on "The Drive with Kevin Weiss" Friday afternoon. The show regularly airs weekdays from 4:00-6:00 PM on ESPN Blacksburg AM 1430 and FM 94.1. Kevin and I discussed expectations for Virginia Tech offensive coordinator Scot Loeffer, positions of concern for the Hokies, Shai McKenzie (the interview was recorded before Shai's day in court yesterday), the running back situation, players poised for a breakthrough season, Dwayne Lawson and Whit Babcock.

Math is hard.

Trey Edmunds might be the best back on the roster

Agreed. I'm real pumped to see a healthy Trey Edmunds.

Not the bagman VT deserves, but the bagman VT needs right now.

Can Cline get back to his playing ability? 26 catches as a freshmen, if he gets back and Hodges stays the same or gets better that is 4 huge weapons catching the ball.

Wet stuff on the red stuff.

I'm not able to listen to the conversation, but I'd make that 5.5 weapons. Mallek who can get open and catch, and Knowles who with a little tweaking and confidence could hurt some people long.
