The Hokies knocked off the Flames 36-13. GIFTORY recaps the highs of Justin Fuente's maroon and orange debut.
When it's too late and the QB still doesn't see you.

Shai McKenzie helped Wyatt Teller on pancake duty. Oh by the way, French will have more on Shai in his film review.

This pump and pass is too sexy.

Greg Stroman executed a one-man tip drill. 💯

Dime.

#Hokies rolled its 30 package there and Ken Ekanem just retook Winterfell.— THE KEY PLAY (@thekeyplay) September 3, 2016

Isaiah Ford is a cheat code.

1-0.

That Isaiah Ford snag in the end zone is pure sex.
Now I'm not one to be superstitious, but I was wearing my ballin' Horse on a Treadmill T-shirt from TKP and we won. So now I'm going to try and do it for every game.
Also I love Evan's celebrations after the touchdown throws. Guy gets animated.
It'll be interesting to see what Shai's role is going forward, cause he looked pretty good to me.
I had the same shirt on. Looks like I won't be doing laundry for a while...
I wore the same shirt and got questions and comments.
Marketing, man.
I'm not going to be able to watch the Bristol game at all. I booked a wedding (I'm a wedding photographer). Last time I shot a wedding during a marquee VT game we beat Ohio State. So yeah I'm a little stitious.
I am booking you to come down to Hot-lanta to take pics of me and my wife in wedding attire during Miami, UNC, Notre Dame, Pitt, Clemson/FSU...
You get the... picture.
I'm fine with this. I love Atlanta. Wife and I went there on vacation this summer. She has family on Lake Sinclair and is from Snellville!
Now that I think about it VT is 2-0 when I shoot weddings. Furman last year was a win. I also am booked for the Duke game.
My cousin's fiance decided to pick the 10th for his wedding date so we're in the same boat. Best believe I'll be watching on my phone from the aisles!
What the hell is wrong with these people? They've scheduled bye weeks for weddings, births, funerals and such
Plus, February, March, April, May, June, July, and early August.
Not to mention EVERY SATURDAY IN OCTOBER.
That's a really late (or west coast) wedding ceremony since kickoff is at 815.
You get a Horse on a Treadmill shirt! And YOU get a Horse on a Treadmill shirt! And YOU!
... I was also wearing my HoaT shirt. It's dork magic.
I like the Evans celeb too. Might as well call him Hawkeye.
Put this offense in the red zone and Evans will find Bucky or Ford with that back shoulder fade every time.
I don't know how you even defend Bucky on that throw. I don't know if you've heard, but he's 6'7".
You mean he's 7'19"
You mistyped that. You meant 67'.
And yet, I see no Bud Foster with Smarties.
Shai and McMillian should be the 1-2 punch.
Mix in Rogers as the HBack - catching passes in space and making a move seems to be his forte.
Now for the week of serious prep for TN. The coachs said it, there is work to be done. I'm sure they have some surprises for this week.
It seemed the defense was not worn-out in this game, 'thank you' offense. Thethe just need to continue to build, fast! No pressure but TN will be fired up, too. Time to show Hokies Pride! An upset is always sweeter.
I'd like to see them bring the house on Dobbs a few times just to get him warmed up (and see if it's effective so they can do it again).
I move that "Cheat Code" be made Isaiah Ford's official nickname

Really liked the touch on Evans passes. Past VT Qbs have had big arms, but overthrew the ball at time. He has good timing with his receiving corps and has some nice touch in the red zone, nice to see.
Really like the distribution of the throws too. Getting Cam to feel like he is receiver 1A instead of #2 is going to be big for his confidence. And I am not sure what you do as a D-coordinator with Bucky split wide all the time opposite Cam and Ford. Good luck
I do think we are too predictable with Bucky though. He only got 2 targets and both were in the end zone. I was disappointed we didn't go deep with him at all.
Missed some deep throws, but many of them were in single coverage, so maybe Bucky was drawing double teams
I don't think the Liberty game is the one to worry about being predictable. We ran so little of the playbook, it was pretty much an open scrimmage before the BaB.
Offense looked so much more polished than in the past.
Hope it continues.
I'm surprised neither the GIFtory nor French's review mentioned Wyatt Teller's performance at 9:39 left in the 4th Q. I can't figure out how to post it because the original is longer than an hour, which appears to be imgur's limit.
