There are benefits to being an early riser. Being one of the first to see these great shots and being one of the first to thank you for posting.
THANK YOU FOR BEEEEEEING A FRIEEEEEEEEND
I can't wait to see us at full strength, but I guess I'll have to! We are getting alot of depth development.
Oh that is beautiful
The Darrisaw block on Burmeister's TD is a thing of beauty.
Not only Darrisaw. Great blocking by Hoffman and Kaleb Smith too! Beautiful stuff on that play.
We are reaping the rewards of all those freshman starters the past two seasons, along with very shrewd Portal transactions.
White boy DB int says it all, we are doing the football
One of the funniest movies of the 21st century
Lance...Nancy!
Who in crikey f*** is Half Squat!?
The movie really is phenomenal.
Bread Reed, please.
A Hokie win and a Monday morning...smells like GIFtory.
Great way to start a Monday morning with a fresh squeezed glass of Giftory!
Nick Gallo going beast-mode and taking out 3 Duke players on the Blackshear spin GIF. ๐๐๐
triple stack pancakes, baby
Oh my god I hadn't noticed that, holy shit.
"How did I do, Eric?" - Nick, after the game
Gallo's triple block on the "spin cycle" run by Blackshear would likely have resulted in a touchdown if the WR in motion (Smith?) had gotten a block on Duke's number 26. There were no other defenders visible who could have made that tackle.
This is true, but on the flip side, Kaleb Smith did also bully that Duke DB on one of BBs rushing TDs.
Where did you find this gif of me hearing the doorbell?
That hair is peak Pete.
Oh, you like to spin? I'll spin you alright

...ashes to ashes...we all fall down ๐ถ
Only one thing missing
Barno had that tackle looking stupid! He went from looking out of place in "week 1" to looking more than competent in week 2. Props to TNT!
NOTE- ON "SPIN CYCLE" NICK GALLO KNOCKS DOWN THREE DEFENDERS AT THE SAME TIME. I CALL THAT "TRIPLE STACK."
am I allowed to tell French to DRINK?
Hoffman looked like a one man wall on Herbert's game clincher
NOTE 2: LECITUS HAD A ROUGH START, BUT HE HAD A DAMN GOOD FINISH
Normally how it works for me too.
NOTE 3: KEEP PETE AS FAR AWAY FROM HERBERT AS POSSIBLE
This was the only GIF I didn't understand. Is there some sort of backstory to Pete that I'm unaware of? Have I not been TKPing hard enough?
TKP PLS HELP, almost 30 upvotes to French's post but I still don't understand. I feel like I'm missing a key piece of info and it makes me a sad boy.

Pete Morris runs the @VTfootball Twitter account. His posts periodically get mention around here, usually due to cringe factor.
Someone commented on Pete's hair during the game thread.
I'm inferring that this is Pete congratulating Herbert after his TD.
I don't know if French is concerned about him giving Herbert Covid, grooming advice, a bad Tweet, or something else entirely.
At least Pete has a mask on.
Through my excellent lip reading skills, I can tell you that Pete said, "I'll get that recipe from you later."
Monday AM coffee while enjoying a GIFTORY. Life is good! Thanks Joe.
Thanks for pulling this together.
This is good stuff. You have clearly put considerable time to put this together; my question is how long?
It is obviously easier when the team gives you so much raw material to pick from!
I dunno if he has a neckroll attached to them or what, but I definitely like that it looks like Herbert likes to wear 'big boy' shoulder pads - usually the skill position guys wear something lighter and more form-fitting...but he looks like Alstott with what he's got on.
I have really been impressed with our wide receiver blocking. Kaleb Smith especially stands out. Watch him on the Burmeister run. The difference between a first down and a touchdown.
Gutsy win, being down some many in the secondary, the defense played good enough. I'm loving the pressure the d-line has been able to bring. Oline is opening huge holes and Herbert is showing great vision and burst. I would like to see the passing game show improvement and hopefully Robinson doesn't muff any more punts.
I'm not gonna get hung up on the W/L record during this crazy year. I am just enjoying this team that plays with a lot of heart and maybe is a tad short on huge playmaking talent (I said 'short' not non-existent).
We have QBs for days, a real running game, some really good O-line play early, and the guys seem to be having fun. Good stuff in a year that is short on good stuff.
I'm on board with this^^^. I've seen a few seasons under Beamer (even!) where in the opening plays the offense seemed to not know what shape a football was. At least this season our guys look like they're prepared and have a fire in their bellies. Can't ask for much more than that, given the circumstances.
It has a been a lot of years since I have seen such a dominant run game from Tech. Now we just need to be able to pass the ball to complement it.
Me reading so many Giftory(s) that past 2 weeks focused on Offensive Line play:

This has made my day. Thank you sir.
Excited to see a healthy team at some point this year (Coaches included)
Lol at Brock Hoffman giving Lecitus Smith some sort of forehead noogie on Herbert's post-TD sideline gif.
Not quite sure what that was, but I like it.
I just looked at Brock Hoffman on each of the offensive Gifs. Each one has him making a textbook block. Wow what a pickup we had with him. Amazing Grit!
Missed this game due to cell service issues this makes me excited to watch this one
The funny thing about a strong rushing game is that it looks so easy when it works and the O coordinator is a buffoon when it doesn't. I like being able to rush for first downs, even on 0th and 10.
I'm always reminded how Texas fans wanted to fire their offensive coordinator Greg Davis before the 2005 season when they won the national title. He ultimately won the Broyles award that year.
