I think this has been the best we have covered an opponent in the site's short history. When I say "we" I mean the community here. The football conversation has been engaging and insightful; the Photoshops hysterical. I just wanted to thank you all for making the bye week fly by.
Before the game I'd recommend (re-)reading French's Glory, or Death by a Thousand Cuts, Kevin's Preview, taking a look at the defensive depth chart changes, laughing at the MascotMock™ and getting fired up with some Raid.
Most of you are either at the game or a bar, so there will be no live blog, but leave any before and after thoughts in the comments below.

To the defense: stay at home, stay disciplined, and know your assignment. Do not deviate / take matters into your own hands. If you do all of this, we will be fine.
To the offense: Run the ball. Pound it up the middle. Make this a physical, backbreaking game. Make GT suffer.
To Special Teams: Just don't shank a punt.

Satisfying win! #
Nice to win a meaningful game on National TV. While the 15 yarder for the punch to Thomas was big. My most satisfying moment was stopping GT on that 4th down play on the 31. That arrogant Paul Johnson thought that was a gimme. If they would of converted it would of been bad for us. That stop was a huge momentum swing. Love it!

Also great to get some legitimate attention to our studs LT3 and DW4- the announcers were gushing over them all night. Rece Davis adding Wilson to his Heisman list at the end of the 4th was classic too.
It's nice to know that Wilson is the most electrifying player in the country, but I gotta say it's also satisfying that he leads the country in yards. Gives credibility to the claim with some hard numbers.
