What sucks is that Virginia has held the belt once for three games.

7 ACC Teams #
Seven have held the belt including Duke and NC State! That VT has not held it is a crime! Beamer has the worst record in belt championships. 0-9. Three other coaches have 10 losses but they all have at least 15 wins and multiple reigns.
I am curious to know whether VT had any equivalent belt games prior to 1972.

This UNC game is worrisome, due to motivational factors, but on paper it should be an easy VT win. Can VT win out and keep the belt until next year?? Chances are pretty good, with Clemson the toughest
