Announcers and their stats

I haven't been on because I haven't felt like reading anything on the game. However, now that it's Monday and I've had a couple days to process, I hate announcers.

The three stats that they pushed at the beginning of the game had me feeling like we wouldn't win the game because of whatever luck/tempting fate announcers tend to have when it comes to the beginning of the game.

The three stats (if that's what you call them) they had at the beginning of the game:

Duke has lost 12 in a row to VT dating back to 1981 (or whatever year).
The last time Duke beat a ranked team in 1950something or 1960something.
The last turnover given up by VT on September 21st.

It sure does happen a lot when announcers call on things like that, that the game goes that way.

Anyway...I know the season isn't over, so all I can do is hope that doesn't derail this team and we can win the rest of our games.
