VT and Whit, winning the hiring game

VT is getting some loving over the Fuente hire (and Whit hire) in the Washington Post.

I stopped reading the Washington Post college sports section when it became all about Maryland and they stopped covering VT as a local team, but the small amount of coverage VT has been getting lately has at least been positive. This one is mostly praise for Whit, which I believe is well-deserved.

I can imagine no more rewarding a career. And any man who may be asked in this century what he did to make his life worthwhile, I think can respond with a good deal of pride and satisfaction:
