GF is looking to start knitting some Hokie related items in the near future, but we are having the hardest time finding the right yarn for it. The yarn she is looking for needs to be good quality (so nothing from Wal-Mart, etc.), but not the hand-dyed stuff, as that would be cost prohibitive. Both yarns (maroon & orange) need to be of the same type, so they blend together on a sweater or scarf well. We were looking at buying from the same manufacturer, but we could only find one color or the other that fit the criteria.
Anyway, not sure if anyone here can help me, but if you are a crafter, let me know where you get your yarn. If you know someone who has knitted Hokie related items in the past, can you ask them where they got their yarn?
