Winning on the Road in the ACC

Tonight, the inaugural CMYBall team goes for their fourth ACC road win of the season. They are coming off a heartbreaking and somewhat headscratching loss on the road to Boston College. However, it should be noted, ACC road wins are difficult to come by for any Hokie coach.

Last year, with arguably the best Hokie Men's Basketball team to see the court, Buzz Williams only managed 5 road wins, including the worst basketball game ever played.

In the rest of the Buzz Williams tenure, the Hokies won 5 games in the 2017-18 season, 3 in 2016-17, 3 in 2015-16, and 0 in his first season with the Hokies.

James Johnson won a grand total of one game on the road during his two seasons at the helm.

Seth Greenberg's last year saw one ACC road win, with the rest of his tenure seeing 3, 3, 3, 3, 4, 3, and 2 going backwards by season.

Should the Hokies get the win tonight, they'll have four, marking the tied for 3rd best season on the road in the ACC for the Maroon and Orange.

Pull off another road win at Georgia Tech in a week and this would be tied for the best road season.

And they're freshmen and should-be-highschoolers.
