I have finally reached the point where I think this is awesome.
I know that might not be suuuper popular around here, but my love for college football is based on Hokies doing awesome things, teams I hate having bad things happen to them, and Chaos/Absurdity. This hilarious meme combines the lovable wholesomeness of Frank with some serious absurdity. I love it.
Or maybe enough time has passed that the pain of setting offensive football back 50 years is finally blunted.

The only part of this that I still love to this day is remembering the flurry of angry text messages that I received from a friend when his cruise ship finally got into range of a tower because this was the only game available on the ship while it was coming into port on the boring last day when you are all packed and everything is basically closed.

My take is there is nothing wrong with the meme itself. It reminds me that we lost that game which is why I chuckle and then roll my eyes in disgust each time I see it.
