Practice Squad people
Corey Fuller - Lions
Vince Painter - Broncos
Bruce Taylor - Bengals
Did the Jets ever sign Danny Coale?
Not that I can tell, I know the Giants brought him in for a workout in October but he didn't make the cut with them either.
Coale seems like the perfect Belichick player. The Patriots should sign him up
Oh the conflicting feelings that would bring on.
UVAdoucher, no doubt. But we had an RB named Cedric Humes so I don't know if the whole Cedric = automatic douche holds true.
It doesn't. By definition a Hokie athlete cannot be a douche.
Ah good call! Although Marcus Vick rode that line pretty hard...
You can be a jerk and come nowhere near being a douche.
Michael undouches Marcus.
Also, seeing that Jacksonville is Hokie-less, I don't get why they cut Jarrett Boykin after drafting him. The way he's playing this year, no way he wouldn't have helped the Jags.
He signed with the Jags after not being drafted at all. And if I had to guess, I'd just say that nobody in Jax has the ability to find potential in an unrefined player and then develop him, so he may very well have failed in Jax.
Ah you're right, not sure why I thought he was drafted. I'm not sure if I would have labeled him as unrefined since he is statistically VT's #1 WR, but yeah I could totally see the Jags botching it.
Well... we aren't exactly known for our air raid offense. And I don't really think Kevin Sherman was all that great of a coach. Just because he's one of our top receivers ever doesn't mean that he is an NFL-caliber receiver straight out of college.
Touche. I suppose you could say that about almost any player, playing any position at any college though.
No one can help the jags
Good to see Roc Carmichael getting some PT. Wasn't aware that he had made it.
Coming from an Eagles fan its hard to watch him play sometimes, he has some work to do. But I know he can make it, hes got the drive and determination to be great in The League. I hope they hold onto him.
Yeah he's been beaten pretty bad a few times (the second TD in Redskins game #2 being the worst at least to me) but he works his ass off. Chip will bring the best out of him
Can we give the Broncos a bonus suck for trading Eddie Royal as part of acquiring Peyton Manning?
Yes, and good point.
Can you imagine his stats if he was playing with Peyton at QB?
I'll have to dream up some kind of a bonus suck for Denver that doesn't involve horses.
Eddie Royal was not traded. He was a free agent after his rookie contract ended. He originally agreed to a contract with the Redskins right before they signed Pierre Garcon. He decided to nix the Skins contract and signed with the Chargers, instead.
yep, from what i understand he left denver to get away from the tebow circus and then they sign peyton like five minutes later. ahh well.
You shut your whore mouth. Denver does not suck. And they have Vinston Painter, even if he's only the practice squad.
Ok, I'll give them props for Painter on the Practice squad but then double sucks for letting Royal get away. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vinston_Painter#Professional_career
No active guys on Sunday so, they still suck AND their horse isn't even on the treadmill but, they are trending towards seeing the light.
If they move Painter to Active and get him a Superbowl ring, they could go so far as to join the Ravens as the team of the future.
Any body know any other teams that have an active Hokie with a SB ring?
And everyone knows that a double sucks minus props equals still sucks. Simple math.
As a big Bengals fan I'm afraid I must say the word ni to you until you admit they will win the AFC.
Ni!
Ni!
Go Bengals.
They could win it all but, they will still suck, draft time is approaching so, they can redeem themselves.
You know, it seems a LOT of these teams that are in the SUCK would significantly improve their morale and record if they would simply sign and start at least one former Tech player.
And like magic, they would no longer suck.
Sometimes I think they just don't get it.
Until then they can go on sucking and bite my shiny metal ass and a merry f-king Xmas!
Here's a link to the official NFL Practice squads for the NFL 2013 season.
They don't update it.

Isn't the colts coach a hokie? Figured that should unsuck em a bit.
Bruce Arian took over the Colts last season when Pagano was sick... he won AP COTY too. He's HC of the cardinals now...might be tougher to unsuck them. Surprised he's not mentioned more often here. He 's an alum and started his career here in '75 ...yhe again Hoda's a Hokie too.... GOHOKIES!
Forgot he left the Colts.
Hoda is a hokie, but very hard to get her to do any hokie support, even for a charity...
