This is some excellent Friday afternoon news. Their status for the Sun Bowl was uncertain at the end of November and beginning of December. Being "full go" at practice makes it seems like they'll be ready to play against UCLA. Fuller and Exum will give Bud Foster a lot more flexibility and ways to attack the Bruins' defense and pressure Brett Hundley.
On a personal note, I'm happy I'll be able to watch these seniors in the maroon and orange one last time.
Practice underway here in El Paso. Both Kyle Fuller (core) and Antone Exum (ankle) are full go.— VT Football (@VT_Football) December 27, 2013

Kyle Fuller is a must for us to have a good chance at winning in this game, his tackling/game changing abilities completely change our defensive look and performance
A couple days late for a Christmas present, but what the hell.

This thread went from Christmas Bonus to Jam-of-the-Month club in less than 36 hours.
*joyous hip thrusting*
Great news! Lights out on defense with Kyle back on them field.
I am very excited to see these hardworking Hokies take the field one last time in Maroon & Orange.
Looks like we'll find out definitely if they'll play or not soon.
this makes me feel a lot better about the game.
Before I get too excited, saying these guys area "Full-go" and them actually being 100% are totally different. I want them both back playing like the CB's we've come to know and love; but I wonder if this is going to be the case come gametime. At least UCLA has to imagine a world with 2 Fullers on one defense and gameplan for it.
Double Fuller all the way across the field...wow so intense.
The addition of 1 Fuller to a defense increases the chances of the team winning by 3948576%. That's math
yeah, but does their fuller somehow negate one of ours? maybe half of one of ours?
I thought we have #AllTheFullers
Forgot about that. Blast. So instead of that number up there, it's more like 4398%.
There are Fullers... and then there are Fullers.
Finally.
A taste of what could have been, should have been all year for our secondary,
I am rife with anticipation now.
Great news, I hope they both pad their highlight reels and stay healthy

Please don't re-injure anything! I'm slightly concerned.
Does anyone know what the actual deal is with Exum? There is obviously something more going on than the injury he suffered in the Miami game...
What?...you don't believe that a sprained ankle has kept him out for the last 2 months?....me either. I think he was never right the entire year, and when he did try to go for that one game they realized he still had a long way to go. Not sure the reason for all of the secrecy and charade though.
Draft stock. They don't want scouts to back off him for a major knee injury with prolonged (more than anticipated) rehab.
Nah. Nothing wrong with Exum. ACL tears are something you can come back from quickly, and with no risidual issues.

Too soon. I still laughed though.
Recent tweets (quoting TGray) suggest that Exum is done and won't be playing now.
Done as in just this season or football for good?
This season. Med redshirt ruled out, so done with college.
Hope someone picks him up in the later rounds. Either that or he will focus on rap career.
Nooooooooo
Damn.
Kyle Fuller is also listed as "very doubtful". This thread has done nothing but toy with my heart
The Fuller we are on defense the better!
Antone Exum and Kyle Fuller will be remembered fondly for the way they played ball, and conducted themselves off the field. They've also done an outstanding job mentoring their underclassmen successors into becoming the next great Hokie Cornerbacks.

HERE'S TO THEM!
