The Hokies will get their first taste of ACC competition after last week's dual meet was postponed. This should give us a much clearer picture of who will be in the starting lineup going forward.

Young guys really showed how important experience is. Thankfully this season will not count against their eligibility so they all get free redshirts. Particularly important for all of the true freshman.

As a relatively new Wrestiling fan, I hate the coverage. Can't tell who is wrestling, overall team score, or much of anything else. If you don't already follow wrestling it is almost impossible to get into it based on what you see on TV. I watched the ESPN replay, and read the comments, and still have no clue what happened over all or why. Lots of different wrestlers than I saw in the other matches, equally poorly broadcast, and no clue who was who or why. Can we at least get a broadcasting
student to learn enough to commentate on air for those who like to be able to understand what is going on? Hokie fan in all sports, but trying to follow this is worse than field hockey. At least that has someone explaining it to you between meaningless rambles on the commentators personals history in the sport and human interest stories. I'll meep watching and trying to pick it but DAMN.
You were probably watching the exhibition matches after the duel. I agree I wish they would broadcast them like they do the duel meet. I would highly recommend watching the actual dual meets, especially the ones at Virginia Tech. They do a pretty good job with the broadcast and the commentating really helps explain what you are looking at and what guys are trying to do in certain positions. NC State also does a very good job on their broadcasts.

ACC duals are on Friday nights. Tech is at Duke next Friday and will be making up the UNC dual on Saturday.

For those that don't know wrestling only gets 9.9 full scholarships to spread between the entire team which is around 30 guys. Duke does not offer any athletic scholarships for wrestling, which is part of the reason why their team is not particularly competitive.
