Thoughts on Today?

What are everyone else's thoughts on today's game?

To be completely honest I wasn't that disappointed. We knew we were in for a tough game and played them 14-10 after three quarters with our backup quarterback. It's unfortunate that Logan got hurt right after he got the entire team pumped up with his Marshawn Lynch-style Beast Mode run. But all in all I wasn't that disappointed. Hundley is a damn good player and hopefully he comes back and does that again against UVA next year.

I unfortunately don't see our offense being that good next year. There just aren't any play-makers on this team. We need another Eddie Royal, Ryan Williams or David Wilson type. Someone you can go to in any situation and know that you're gonna have a chance to score. That just doesn't exist on this team and I don't see anyone on our roster that can become that. Trey is going to be a very good running back, but he's not a big play runner. I think Stanford has the most potential to be that type of player, especially since he was only a freshman this year, but he needs to work on catching the ball before he becomes better after the catch.

I think our defense will still be great next year. We are clearly losing some key players, especially on the defensive line, but Bud did a good job of getting the young guys some playing time this year too. Dadi, Williams, and Maddy all look to me like they're gonna be studs. I'm most worried about who replaces Tyler and Edwards (maybe Chase Williams will follow Cody Grimm and be awesome).
