Lady Hokies take down the Tar Heels 73-69. Kitley had a huge game with 27 points and 8 rebounds. Starters accounted for 68 of 73, with Sheppard scoring 19 as the only other Hokie in double figures.
Ladies are now 9-7, but just 4-7 in ACC play. 9th place overall but should be favored in most of their remaining games.

Good win. I just wish they would learn to take control of a game and win one the easy way.
Needed that one. String a few wins together, we're right back in that huge middle-of-the-ACC pack.

A win is a Win, but the team needs to be more than Kitley and Sheppard. FAM!
Exciting finish! Need to win a few more of those to go our way. Need to push that 6 point lead to 10, but much better to hold on for the win than lose it. I was worried about a let down after the big W, but they overcame a few players not getting shots to drop to grit it out. Keep playing and finishing like that and we will dance.
