OT: March Madness War Movie Edition: Final Four

With both basketball seasons now ended, TKP March Madness is also approaching it's end.

60 great war movies have been eliminated but without further ado, here are the Final Four.

Northwest Bracket Champion: #1 Saving Private Ryan vs
Southwest Bracket Champion: #1 Braveheart

Northeast Bracket Champion: #2 Platoon vs
Southeast Bracket Champion: #2 Guns of Navarone, which advanced on the last vote choice.

Voting is Open and will be so for two days.

Question before we finish up.

I have enough movies to put together an NIT and either a CBI or CIT, if there is enough interest in more bracketry.

Ok. I've gone ahead and made up the two additional tournaments.

Unlike this tournament, where the first round had similar themed movies, I'm seeding the next two tournaments (except for one, sentimental matchup)

I'll have the first round ready to go Monday morning.

Braveheart was good, but SPR was better. Guns takes Platoon in a close match carried by David Niven across the line.

I voted for Bridge over SPR. Braveheart and SPR both in the final four has surprised me.

I think the east bracket beats either of the movies from the west bracket for the crown.

Sentimental favorite for me, Dad loved that movie and we watched it several times a year...
