Byrce up 6-4 at the break
Byrce loses 8-7
Iran gotta make the finals for BA to get pulled back into repecharge
That was an unlucky draw to start off with. Hopefully he gets pulled back in. I would like to see him get some more action.
Iran makes it to the finals and BA is back in repechage! He will be wrestling for a chance at Bronze tomorrow.
bryce bryce baby
Saw the article about him making the team, did not realize the tourney was so soon. Thanks for your updates!
Andonian won both of his repechage matches to make it to the Bronze Medal Match.
He is so fun to watch wrestle. His wrestling is just so weird and effective.
Bryce Andonian is your 70 KG Junior bronze world medalist! Being down 8-2 Andonian put it on the Moldovan in the final 2 mins and won by Tech fall 18-8๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐๐๐๐๐๐
LET'S GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Moldovan was probably like...

16 unanswered points!!!! What a match!
That is one hell of a points swing
Is there a recording of the bronze medal match anywhere?
Flowrestling would have it but you would have to pay. I would see if the UWW youtube channel uploaded it
Holy shit! What a finish that is!
Ando shatters that dudes will by the end of that clip
Psyched to see him show out after the first match. Does he have any Greco aspirations since he is so good with upper body takedown and throws?. Would seem to translate somewhat if he did.
I don't see him doing Greco. Americans really don't mess with Greco
Thanks APrimusHokie for posting this thread otherwise I would have missed the news on BA's Bad Ass comeback. In his post match interview he could tell when he broke his opponent's will and then finished him off. Loads of praise for the coaching he's gotten especially Frayer.
BA thought the tournament was over for him after his 2 matches earlier in the day then realized later in the day he had to cheer on the guy he lost to yesterday in order to get a chance for the bronze.
I haven't followed wrestling enough to understand how repechage works. Is it an international thing or do some tournaments in the US use it too?
Repecharge is a international thing. America uses a consoulation bracket so for anyone who loss could come back to win 3rd 5th 7th etc
