OT: Chris Bickell '97 Head Football Coach Pat Narduzzi

You can't make this stuff up.....

Here is the LINK

Pittsburgh Panthers head coach Pat Narduzzi got a new job title Thursday. Instead of being the head coach at Pitt football, Narduzzi will now be known as the Chris Bickell '97 Head Football Coach. No, really.

The University of Pittsburgh announced a massive $20 million donation by alumnus Chris Bickell, who, as you may have already guessed, graduated from the school in 1997. It was the largest single donation in the university's history.

This is well deserved! Congratulations, Pat!

Bob: What would ya say ya do here?

Brad: I already told you! I iron out the minutiae so Justin doesn't have to. I have people skills dammit! What the hell is wrong with you people?

To hell with Narddog.

Fuck Chris Bickell '97 Head Football Coach Pat Narduzzi.

Is there any way to give more legs for this post?

Ah man, that is the first good laugh I've had in a long long time.

Simply stunning.

Finally I got BINGO for things so stupid to buy that people will actually buy them! Been waiting for years after I got "cloud naming privileges".

I *almost* feel bad for him, how embarrassing

Now finish up them taters; I'm gonna go fondle my sweaters.

I hear he is appealing the new title with school officials since Chris obviously pushed off

gotta call it both ways

I hope narduzzi gets the help he so desperately needs...also Chris Bickell

Talk about a fool and his money...

Chris Bickell must be a salt fortune heir

There should be a special edition Mortons with Narduzzi's face on it.

I feel like this is someone trolling him because even pitt fans seem to hate him lol

I can imagine no more rewarding a career. And any man who may be asked in this century what he did to make his life worthwhile, I think can respond with a good deal of pride and satisfaction:
“I served in the United States Navy"

Watched the Ill-Neb game last week and Bielema has a similar preamble title prior to HC. Not quite as ridiculous as this but not a ton better.

While it seems very narcissistic I wouldn't be surprised if this becomes a trend in CFB..anything that makes money goes.

My question is, do they even ask the HC about this? Or is this simply, they brought the $$$ so deal with it.

I mean, in essence, they are paying for those coaches...

Onward and upward

Maybe he thought his money was going to replace Narduzzi. I can't imagine them actually wanting to sponsor him.

It's been a trend for some time. I think the Michigan head coach title is similar. Pitt isn't the first to do this.

So should we be on the lookout for Frank Beamer '69 Head Coach Justin Fuente?

Nice.

What an excellent idea.

I honestly don't understand the pomposity of someone who makes a donation expecting something to be named for them.

I always was planning that when I got hit at a crosswalk by a BT, I would require one of the New Res halls to be named after me, you know, the right way to get naming rights.

Plan for the worst and hope for the best, not the other way around.

I understand wanting something named after you, but the coaches title seems an odd choice.

Hey, $20 is $20.

Five star get after it 100 percent Juice Key-Playing. MAN

It's customary to just leave it on the nightstand.
