Is it bad that my first thought was who? Glad that he worked his but off in practice to earn the honor. May he have many tackles for loss or at the line against Richmond.

Back up LB. A lot of praise lately for him and Keshon Artis. They both got a lot of burn against MTSU so hopefully the same here. Wouldn't be surprised to see Dean in before the end of the 1st half.

Both linebackers were the first group of backups that got in against Middle Tennessee. Looking forward to seeing them again Saturday. Artis looked particularly good last time and graded out really high.

Really glad to see guys like Dean Ferguson and Keshon Artis earning PT and gaining the trust of the staff. The last couple years it never seemed like we had more than 2-3 guys we trusted for the two ILB spots. Definitely good for keeping everyone fresh, healthy, and fit.
