The Lady Hokies host Clemson today at 6 PM. The game is on ACCNx. Clemson is 8-15 and 2-10 in ACC play. Their two wins were at LOLUVA(0-10) and at Wake Forest(2-10). Not a very impressive resume.

Their tallest starter is 6'2"; but they do have two 6'3" freshman players that come off the bench. Interestingly, there are three players who have played significant minutes, but are not listed on the roster on their website. Elliott is in the transfer portal and Lewis has retired from basketball. I could not find anything on Latrese Saine. She played in 22 games and started 8; but her bio has disappeared from the Clemson website. She last played against Louisville on Feb 3.

Clemson does not shoot the three ball very well, averaging 27% as a team. Their most prolific three-point scorer averages a little over 1 made three per game. Without Saine, they don't have anyone to match up against Kitley other than the two freshmen, who don't play much.
AVERAGES

DETAILED STATS

This game should be a tune-up to get ready for Ga Tech and UNC coming to Blacksburg on Thur(8PM) and Sun(1PM). The Ladies should cruise through this one; but the next two are going to be challenging. Ga Tech is #11 in the AP and #16 in the coaches. UNC is #23 and #22. GA Tech is a Regional Sports Network game and UNC is ACCNx.
LET'S GO HOKIES!

Comments
Looked a lot like a wrestling match to me. Women came out and owned the second half. FAM.
Bring on GT!
The rest of the schedule from here on out is grueling. Hoping we go 3-2 or 2-3 at worst in that stretch.
Get well Kitley.
This is a really impressive team and fun to watch. They keep getting better at different part of their games with each game and seem poised to put together a very well rounded threat this March! If you haven't been watching them you really are missing something special.
FAM!
Clemson demonstrated that you can stop Kitley if you really want to. But you can't stop the whole team if the other players are playing well.
Them concentrating/holding/wrestling Kitley let Baines have the game of her life. Sheppard stepped up as well as the other girls.
Little nervous in the first half (4 point lead), but that blew up a little more in the third and in the fourth they put the pedal to the floor.
