On this week's Macrodosing podcast they were debating a hypothetical situation where you had to have an NFL offense comprised entirely of one cloned football player. This one player would be the QB, OL, and skill positions. Some arguments were 11 Aaron Donalds, for example. I was wondering what the best Virginia Tech offense you could make with one player in Tech football history would be? This player would have to block as the OL, be the receivers, the running back, and the QB.
The obvious correct answer is 11 Greg Boones, but I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts.
Edit: ok the Logan Thomas idea is good. Counterpoint: 11 Greg Boones is WAY funnier and arguably about as effective.

1st and Logan, 2nd and Logan, 3rd and Logan........
there would never be a need for a 4th.
You'd want somebody who can play all of the positions at least kind of okay. I would give a player who can throw the ball huge bonus points because of how much they could potentially open up the offense, whereas so many other players would only be effective in some sort of wildcat scheme. I would actually nominate Logan Thomas as someone who is relatively big, relatively fast, and can throw the ball.
Oh you need a skill player who can block?
11 Kam Chancellors would be terrifying.
I'm not sure how the offensive line would hold up though. But still scary yes
Mike Vick running an service academy offense would still be deadly IMO. Even on the offensive line he could get in the way enough for the QB/RB to get to the edge and break free.
do you have infinite cloning capacity to change out the line every play?
I'd go with 11 Mike Vicks.
Basically, no blocking, but whoever you got the ball to could do something with it.
11 Tremaine Edmundii on defense... Big enough and fast enough to do enough in the box, would get abused in coverage on the back end but if he's playing a team of 11 clones, chances are the passing game isn't a strong suit.
11 Tremaines vs 11 Logans would be hella fun AF to watch tho
How about someone like a rolling ball of knives or some such?
Mutant League Football was the best.
Another thing to think about. In this situation you wouldn't really scheme to have an RB, would you? In designed run plays you'd almost always want to just direct snap. In some situations maybe you want the running back to have a running start, but IDK, still seems like schematically it'd be an advantage to just go 5 wide.
I'd take 11 Kam Chancellors offense, defense, and special teams...maybe even head coaching...not recruiting though, can't scare away the future Kams that aren't developed fully yet. Big, Fast, Strong. Can cover well for his size, and played QB in highschool. Also terrifying to all offensive players. Also also, jumped over so many lineman that the NFL had to change the rules on field goal kicks.

As a panthers fan, I wasn't even mad.
11 Sam Rogers'
It's Corey Moore and not even close. Close the thread now /S
You can certainly tell it's the offseason...
Doug Easlick on Offense.
Ben Taylor on Defense.
We might not win. But people will be getting flattened.
11 Hookers would be fun
Until it came time to pay the bill!
NFL - Derrick Henry
VT - Corey Moore
11 Frank Beamers will really get after ya
or imagine 11 of this on the field
11 Bruce Smiths anyone?
Sam Rogers is the only correct answer
And how about a special teams unit of 11 Tim Settles
If we are cloning players what is the ruling on twins? Can I clone both and count them as the same?
Bucky Hodges because surely the defense doesn't have anyone over 11 feet tall
Give me Cam Newton everywhere.
This is a really good concept idea for the next EA game
I did it in NHL 15 with 5 Shea Webers. Unfortunately they get very tired when forced to play every shift
11 Wyatt Tellers on offense
Why? Because EVERYONE loves pancakes π₯

No one wants to try eleven Tim Settles?
Only for the punt return team
11 Deablos
The right answer is obviously 11 Corey Moores, if for no other reason than the press conferences. But it would be interesting to see what 11 Dadi Nicolai could do.
That's a Twitter feed I would sign up for.
maybe 11 James Gayles?
You're right. THAT'S the one that would make me sign up for Twitter.
I'll blame... well, myself. Can't blame anything else.
Ok hear me out, 11 Oscar Bradburn. I dont want to be on the other team.
11 Nic Schmidt's might be terrifying too.
I'm pretty sure Jimmy Kibble actually punched another player. Just saying... he's an option.
11 Greg Boones. It would be beautiful and the stadium would be booing every single play.
11 Wyatt Tellers
On offense, it is 11 LT3s, you can throw, block enough, catch, even run it up the gut and truck stick LBs. On defense I am thinking 11 Tremaine Edmunds and you run a 3-4. Enough speed and size to shut down the first 15 yards to just play two deep to try to minimize the chunk plays
