Wrestling starts at 11 and will be streaming on ACCNX. Finals are at 7 tonight at will be on ACCN. The top two seeds have first round byes so Latona, Myers, Andonian, and Traxler get some extra rest.

Brady doing what he always does. Gets the first takedown and then does nothing the rest of the match. He has to win a match to qualify for the NCAAs. They will have a 5th place match to decide the spot.

Bolen cruises to a 16-3 win. Also comes up just short of a Tech Fall.

Howard loses on a review to give Shaw back a second of riding time. His inability to wrestle any position except on his feet cost him the match. He had 3 takedowns and only got about 15 seconds of riding time total.

The one review that doesn't put time back on the clock even though it affects how Howard wrestles the last 10-15 seconds of the match.
Latona wins 16-5. He looked really good, completely dominated. He will face Camacho in the finals.
Myers defeats Prime 6-2. Big to knock down a Pack wrestler. He will face Philippi of Pitt. Rematch of last year.
Gerardi gets ridden out and loses to Mathews. Really bad for team score as Jack from NC State upsets Clarke on the other side.
I don't know what the fuck the refs were doing there. Andonian hit two Winn Dixies, the second giving him a Tech Fall and the refs didn't end the match.
Scott of NC State just pinned Keating. That's going to hurt Techs chances.
Ulrey can't get through Wentzels defence. He will fall to the consolation bracket.
Biggest match of the tournament is a semifinal between Lewis and Hidlay.
Big time win for Lewis! Gets a takedown in the first, beats Hidlay 3-2.
Disappointing bout by Bolen. He looked exhausted after the first and couldn't finish any of his shots.
Bolen runs out of gas. Same as the Hidlay match in the dual, was the offensive wrestler but lost because of an illegal move.

In rideouts a point is awarded to whomever has the most riding time after both 30 second periods. So Bolen got ridden out giving Kane 30 second riding time advantage.

Gerardi wins 8-2 in consolations, qualifies for the NCAAs. Tech keeps coming up short of extra bonus points.

Watched a good part of the wrestle backs. I was going to make some notes but in the end this team has more holes than swiss cheese. ncsu is for sure the cream of the crop.

Kane must just be a bad matchup for Bolen. He faced Hidlay twice this year and looked completely incompetent in both. Have to think Bolen would have put up a better effort if not winning the match.
