Keely is not looking right. Too much junk and rise is coming right up into the crank zone. 0-1 bottom of th efirst.
I believe that's one reason why you don't see left-handed catchers (or almost anywhere else on the infield).
Are games normally this screamy? I get loud cheering and all that, but this is just straight up screaming. Like the one annoying fan during foul shots, but constant.
I really want to have this game on in my office as I do work, but that incessant chanting/screeching by Cuse's bench makes it impossible to leave the sound on.
I have it on the extra monitor without sound, but keep missing the action. Tie 1-1 in the bottom of the 4th.

That was a nail biter! Glad the good girls came out on top. Kelsey Brown in LF had another great outstretched catch to save runs, just like in the game against Tennessee.
That catch was probably the entire game right there.
Just some props for the announcer too. After that catch he realized that he had made the call with the wrong player's name (remembering after the fact that Kelsey had subbed in to base run and stayed in defensively in LF).
The way he acknowledged it and corrected it was actually very good broadcasting, which I was not expecting to hear from the midday ACCN softball team. I've heard plenty of high level TV guys say the wrong players name and just never acknowledge it.
The announcing crews have been top shelf!

Clemson beat Notre Dame yesterday, so we play Clemson today at 1pm.
The other game is FSU vs Duke at 3:30pm.
I know this isn't softball related but baseball game vs. Louisville has been moved up to 3 PM start.
I would prefer these to be at night. Let's Go!

Just a FYI, they are significantly expanding the seating capacity at the softball field with temporary bleachers in expectation of hosting at least the Regionals.

For everyone always complaining about the coverage, or lack thereof of the ACC/Tech on ESPN/ACCN, there's an option to watch today's softball game in Spanish, so I think we can consider the problem solved.

I didn't not expect this to be honest. Get it out of the way. Now they know it's no walk in the park. I expect them to be hungry after that loss. It was domination on Clemson's part.
It's hard to beat a top 10 team 4 times in one season.
We need to root for Duke, I think FSU would jump us with 1 win and definitely if they win the ACC.
Goal would be the 2 or 3 overall seed to stay on the other side of the bracket as Oklahoma.
Here's the deal... Last year VT got cold at exactly this time and its happening again. I'm not saying the bats won't warm up, but this is what happened last season. Beyond that illegal pitches at key times and crucial errors can be very damaging this time of year.
They have not consistently hit for 3 weeks now. If you give up 3 bombs you usually lose. Our batters showed 0 patience. First pitch and ground ball over and over.
