I had four first timers with me, and I believe they were all instantly converted to the opinion that this is the best entrance in College Football. So I think we did alright
I wasn't there but had the vantage of getting all the coverage from all the TV angles. My wife, fellow Hokie, felt the same, as we both saw the same thing. Base line response was, "Wow, there are a lot of folks just standing there".

We're only a game and some change into the season but im already not a fan of Bowen's vision of this offense. The entire thing looks like shit. The sky isn't falling but I'm not exactly surprised that the Tight Ends coach for the consistently worst team in NFL history isn't making it rain on offense
Really, really trying to be patient but its getting harder. D looks solid, disciplined, and confident. Offense looks the complete opposite.
If our offense was even just average we'd actually have a pretty decent team this year.

Blocking isn't good, routes to the flats are taking too long to develop, and I 100% could have lived without the Wildcat.
Yeah I get it, the offense is a hot mess right now but I'm willing to give it some time until we have another offseason to practice the new system and some of Pry's guys on the team
My problem is you really can't even see what he's TRYING to do and that's my issue. I can deal with some missed execution and things of that sort but he doesn't seem to have an idea of what they're really even trying to accomplish

I'm hoping that the offensive ineptitude is due to the lack of talent rather than the bad coaching. If you don't have the talent would be hard to try to do something consistent, because then the complaints would just switch to "why are we doing the same thing when it's obviously not working?" instead.

Bowen is a great TE coach and bright up and coming offensive mind, but this is the biggest gig he's had to date. Rudolph is proven material at OL but not really explosive OC and we don't have the ersonnel to go full Wisconsin. Glenn eh I don't know. Thought he would help in the pass game but not going well this far.

I can't really tell if he's actually staring down a single WR or if the coaches are only giving him one side of the field to work with. More often than not most of the routes are running to the same place/side of the field.

Talent and depth are both issues, but this line is simply not aggressive at all. At the end of nearly every play, at least 2 OL are standing and not actively engaged with anyone.
