In the event you're joining for the first time, or need a refresher, here's how it works:
There are 6 games each week that we pick who is going to win against the spread.
Example: VT is favored by 37.5 points (notated with -37.5 because there are NO TIES IN FOOTBALLexcept when there are) against LOLuva. If you choose VT, AS YOU SHOULD and we get "38-0 Bro" deja vu, YOU WIN! IF, somehow, LOL stumbles into a FG to avoid the shutout, technically...you lose. and anyone that*pearlclutch*picked against the Hokies technically wins. But they should be ashamed.

It is also encouraged to post your picks in the comments each week. PICKS HAVE TO BE IN BEFORE KICKOFF TIME FOR EACH GAME
but I try to select games that kickoff throughout the day a games, so if you forget until halftime of a noon game, you can still make picks on the later ones. I do try to only select games happening on Saturday so if I include a Thursday/Friday one, please let me know.

As an added history lesson...
It's the pick six, or six pick, or you'll see botw...as a play on six pack or beer/bourbon of the week. While the picks are now on CBS, in the dark ages we picked here and had to follow that and track via these posts. At the end, some would post what they were drinking that weekend. (7) Notre Dame at (20) Tammies (AtM -2.5) Elko will have them ready and the gold domes are always overrated.
(23) USCondoms at (13) LSU (LaSU-6.5) IDK who will cover this game, but I would hammer the over if the defenses are anything like last year.
Edit: BOTW for tonight's games is Dale's, one of my tried and trues. Who knows what I'll crack open this weekend in Nashville. Any suggestions for TN brews?
Bearded Iris is really good. I'd recommend them first. Southern Grist does a bunch of the fad beer (hazies, pastry stouts, smoothie sours, etc.). Yazoo has some good classics and mixed ferm beer.

I think Georgia lays a hurting on Clemson in this one. I also just don't think WVU will keep that game under 10. I do think Tech wins, but I think it'll be by less than 2 TDs. I am not at all convinced about Miami, and in a road rivalry game that is essentially a tossup, going with Florida. ND being a Top 10 underdog at aTm is going to have them with a chip on their shoulder, don't like that matchup for the Aggies, and USC being the road team in Vegas against LSU? Gimme USC in the upset win.

Clemson- Not because I think they'll be that good, but that's a big spread for a week one matchup and Georgia lots some pieces.
Cousins- Underrated squad, at home, and I don't think Penn State is ever as good as advertised. Think WVU wins outright, but that spread is waaaay too big.
Hokies- bigger spread than I'd like, but think we manage
Flerda- U isn't bak
TAMU- They're at home, are usually decent, and Notre Dame is overrated
LSU- Pretty evenly matched teams, picked the one I hate less
