The Box kicks off Pitt week a little early. I have a gut reactions post from Peay typed on my laptop, but I'm still without power, so this is up first.
Remember when Pitt had the worst teams ever and they'd still beat us? That sucked.

I remember that game fondly. I was watching it with a buddy at some dirty bowling alley. I couldn't get passed Pat White leaving the game with a trip to the MNC on the line, then coming back into it.

Cold as shit. Gameday in Pittsburgh. Then...the no-call pass interference against Justin Hamilton. Screw Pittsburgh. I wish BANE really did sink that garbage stadium into the bowels of the earth.
That said, I'll be there and tailgating my ass off at 8am.
I was there in 2003 as well. I will never fully understand how Kevin Jones could have a bazillion yards and we still lose.
I was there in 2003 with the MVs and remember how god awful the Pitt fans were before/during/after the game. I also remember what one of the other guys in my section (huge steelers fan) said about the "pitt fans":
"pitt fans are steelers fans who couldn't get steelers season tickets and are bitter as shit about it."
Made a lot of sense.
