For our second OL commit over this holiday weekend, Sports Illustrated reports that Adrian Hamilton has chosen Virginia Tech.
The 6-2.5 290 lb Center from Washington DC (St. John's College) selected the Hokies over Michigan State and UVA.
Hamilton is the 2nd OL in the last 72 hours to commit to the Hokies and is the 4 OL in a class that has 9 so far, and the only IOL at this juncture.
Along the OL, the Hokies have secured commitments from:
OT Thomas Wilder 6-7 295
OT Tyrell Simpson 6-7 310
C Adrian Hamilton 6-3 290
OT Buddy Wegdam 6-6 280

Go Moore!
And what do you have on the menu Chef Moore? Hmmm yes I'll TAKE ALL THE BEEF!
"BEEEEEEEEEF!"
thus answering the age old question from Clara Peller.....
Ok. So coach Moore can recruit. Sooooo glad he wasn't up to WVU's standards.
To the extent the Neil Brown era had any success at WVU it was primarily due to the OL which ranged from good to very good, with many players getting to the NFL. Coach Moore was the primary reason for that quality and until I hear a legitimate reason I will always be baffled by the excuse he was not up to WVU's standards. Rich Rod blew that decision in my book.

and
This reads like RR wanted his guy that he worked with before, that also has a shit-ton of experience in coaching some OLs that performed very well.
Seems like this guy knows how to coach an OL.
Wanting your guy makes sense, calling the former Oline coach shit is just well so on point for RichRod.
St Johns pipeline back up?
Had offers from Duke and Stanford, heard he wants to go into engineering.
Mama didn't raise no fool, he's here to play school as well.
So important to get more wins this year. Staff needs to step up, rest of the team needs to step up. This OL improvement can set the team up for success, but if the team goes 5-7 or 6-7 and Pry is canned, all these recruits are gone anyway. Oh please, let's take a step forward on the field this year and keep the momentum going.
Hopes and prayers, hopes and prayers.
