And now an even bigger deal as next two Hokies hitters get on so rather than either 5-4 with two runners no outs or bases loaded no outs its runners on 1st/2nd with one out.

And instead of walking the best hitter on Pitt (3 for 4 today) to load bases to put force out at home in play they are pitching to him. Still ended in walk but he roped one right down line before ball 4.

Hokies loss was bad but nothing as bad as St Thomas losing to Northern Colorado in the bottom of the 21st inning on a walkoff Balk call that only the 1st base umpire saw apparently and no review. 8th longest game in D1 History.
