I think this is a really cool idea, a way to really interact with recruits in a positive way. Hopefully we see more of these in the future.
My question for Harry is: What was the most appealing aspect of Virginia Tech that made you want to commit here?

This is definitely a cool idea. Without a real question to ask:
Did any school offer you money? (Don't ask him this)

If you had to pick one, what professional football player would you most say your game is similar to?

It was a catch

Pie or cake?

Not the bagman VT deserves, but the bagman VT needs right now.

^^^^THIS^^^^!!!!!!!

p.s. pie

I think this should be a standard interview question from TKP for all time.

"Exit light..."

Great idea, Joe. My question for Harry is: In your own words, how would you describe the recruiting process?

In Sam Rogers we trust.

I would piggyback slightly off of this and ask: What is the best and worst part of the recruiting process?

I love the idea of community-driven interviews. Great stuff!

"Exit light..."

I would like him to describe it in someone else's words.

Great Idea Joe,

My Question is how involved was your family in your decision to commit to Virginia Tech?

As others have said, good idea.

My question: In 10 years, what do you want to be able to look back on your time here and say?

21st century QBs Undefeated vs UVA:
MV7, MV5, LT3, Grant Wells, Braxton Burmeister, Ryan Willis, Josh Jackson, Jerod Evans, Michael Brewer, Tyrod Taylor, Sean Glennon, and Grant Noel. That's right, UVA. You couldn't beat Grant Noel.

Which ACC Quarterback do you want to sack the most?

Great question, but even Mike London doesn't know who his QB will be ;)

"Exit light..."

How about if I rephrase it to:
Is there any particular ACC QB or team the you are really excited to go helmet-to-chest with?
(originally had head-to-head but I didn't want to go down to Zumwalt's level)

Think this could be a great feature.

Questions:

Do you have a preference on what position (DT vs DE) you'd want to play in college?

Are there any teammates or other players that you are going to try to recruit to come to VT?

2 part question:
Why do you think some high-level recruits choose loluva?

And aren't you glad your momma raised you right and you didn't fall into that trap?

@historyhokie.bsky.social

What are some of the goals you would like to achieve during your time at Virginia Tech?

If you could not attend Virginia Tech and had offers from pretty much any school in the country, where would you go?

(If it's UVa - and please don't let it be - just lie and tell us Alabama or FSU or Oregon or something like that)

Blacksburg University, Go Cornish Hens!

I don't see how we benefit from knowing he might want to go somewhere else. He's on his way to being a Hokie, let's not mess with his mind about going to another school. What if that school hears about it and decides to offer the kid?

My question would be, from a systematic standpoint, what about the techniques incorporated by the Virginia Tech defensive scheme most appealed to your skill-set and style of play? And, if you had to sell other recruits on attending Virginia Tech, what are the qualities of the University (academics, atmosphere, room and board, community etc.) that you feel are the best reasons for selecting the Hokies as their college desitination?

Five star get after it 100 percent Juice Key-Playing. MAN

Awesome idea for a series. My question:

Was there anything other schools offered/promoted that you wish Tech had?

Example: practice facility (which is being taken care of)

Row Z forever.

YOU?

Favorite VT player (former or current)

If Bud Foster and Sam Rogers squared off in a pie eating contest, who would win?

BTW, the best possible answer is "Everyone because it's not cake"

False, because that means there would be no pie left for me. I would be forced to eat corndogs, which are also superior to cake.

Five star get after it 100 percent Juice Key-Playing. MAN

Do you hate UVA yet?

Rip his freaking head off!

True or False? Coach Beamer and the Harlem Shake were a big reason why you committed to Virginia Tech

In all seriousness, my question would be: "Based on your experience throughout the recruiting process, would you say Coach Brown has the ability to become - or already is - an exceptional recruiter that should be feared by opposing coaching staffs?"

Are there any particular schools you are looking forward to playing?

Also, how many Commonwealth Cups do you plan on winning, 4 or 4?

I just sit on my couch and b*tch. - HokieChemE2016

What player(s) in college/NFL do you look up/admire to? Are there players you pattern your game on?

I would piggy back on this question a little:

Which NFL players do you look up for reasons not related to football?
Which college players, current or former, do you think did their college careers "right"? (This question may be prompted with choices to see what kind of student/athlete he might want to be: LeGarrette Blount, Christian Ponder, Johnny Manziel, AJ McCarron)

I'd love to hear about his football desires and how much he likes the school, but I'm more interested in his non-football goals and the type of character he wants to pattern himself after.

A train track is 300 miles long. On one end of the track, Train A leaves the station at 4 p.m. On the opposite end of the track, Train B leaves leaves at 6 p.m..

If Train A travels 45 mph and Train B travels 60 mph, would Mike London call a timeout before they collide?

That's ridiculous. Everyone knows what he would do. Wait until one second after the trains collide, then call all three timeouts in a row.

There's always a lighthouse. There's always a man. There's always a city.

False. He would save one for later. Just in case. Better to have it and not need it, right?

A decade on TKP and it's been time well spent.

He likes to have one on hand to ice the post-game interviewers.

"Exit light..."

You are on an island with the HokieBird and Cav-man's horse, Sabre.

After a few hours, you start getting hungry.

Do you A:
Share a lovely dinner of horse-steaks marinated in coconut milk?

Or B:
Head back to the cruise ship buffet?

Before you answer, consider the everlasting shame that Sabre lives under.
