Pretty interesting and impressive interview with CFB from the Ohio State football blog Eleven Warriors. Definitely worth the read. Found this on r/CFB so if you've seen this before I apologize. The comments section from OSU fans is pretty great too, it seems most fans respect CFB and are excited for our matchup.

Ive played in half-full stadiums and the people there didnt care. Id rather be in an exciting stadium. Im sure thats the way its going to be.
Hmmm, Can't be talking about UVA, they are never that full.
I'm pretty sure he's not talking about UVA at all because every time we play there, we fill their stadium up pretty well.
Hmm, yeah, well there is that. Turkey leg sir.
maybe he is talking about ECU.. and if that's the case get use to it. Weaver screwed us big time
I don't think I'd label ECU as a school that doesn't care about it's Football program. I don't think I can think of a time when they hosted a big name local team and they didn't sell out.
They have some crazy fans.
That's impossible...
The ACC
Has never
Had attendance
Issues for any
Of their schools
This is just
Unfair
You should get a leg for every school you mocked here. Sadly, I can only give you 1
I know
Its such a shame
This conference
Has such
An unjust
Reputation
dagger...
Too soon..Ouch..broken sell-out streak ends
Frank Beamer was a QB coming out of high school, then moved to a different position because of 5 other incoming QBs. Now I understand what he meant when he said "the further away you are from the ball, the better your chances of seeing the field".
I be the would have made a great tight end
I guess we will never know.
When he "thinks" he's ready to retire, Babcock can just move him to tight ends coach.
Me too if coach didn't move me to coach potato position. (or if I wasn't 8 inches too short).
11W: The Virginia rivalry. Its unique because its in-state. It has that Alabama-Auburn factor because everyone in the state lives it all year. Has it changed over the years because now youre in the same conference?
Um. Is he serious? Alabama-Auburn? Does anyone outside of UVA's-countdown-clock live it all year?
me
really? I enjoy the streak, I really do, but this is not a rivalry. In boxing, if someone wins a fight and the other wins the rematch, everyone looks forward to the 3rd fight to see who is really the best (Ward-Gattii style). But is someone wins the first fight, then puts the other person in a coma the next fight, its pretty clear that it is not a rivarly.
it's not just about football. maybe it's since i live relatively near charlotesville but i work with hoos, i have close friends who are hoos, my wife's stepmom's side of the family has several hoos, and yes several from among those categories actually attended school there. hell, my daughter was born there. they dont like the football situation but they have hoops and baseball to fall back on, i dont like that situation. then there's the ever present cultural divide that the two schools represent.
not unlike alabama folks pick one or the other. while we as a state might not have the widespread obsession with it that they do, those of us who have thrown their hat in one side or the other are passionate and knowledgeable. its a very real and intense rivalry, and it transcends football.
tl;dr i say fuck uva, they say fuck tech, and i wouldnt have it any other way
I definitely think the UVA series is still a rivalry. But to me, a rivalry is defined as "who do you feel great gloating about after a win, and who does it kill you inside to lose to?" For me, there are three - WVU, UVA, and Da U.
Good points
Here in Roanoke, it's definitely an all year thing.
Nope! I consider Miami and WVU our biggest rivals.
FSU is going on that list for me... I hate those guys.
Hokie fans live it all year.

Not so much...
they live it...just not in the football realm. They HATE VT and they're not shy about talking down to Hokies everywhere. They're elitists (which is funny because they're not nearly as elite as they'd like to think) and they wouldn't give a Hokie the time of day.
Loved all the photos in the article. Is that a VT pirate ship on his desk?
Yes. A local guy makes them.
Did you read this?
Actually, it's two positions: Virginia Tech is Hiring Two Recruiting Related Positions
Missed that one. Thanks.
There really isn't a computer anywhere near Frank's desk (unless you count the iPhone).
Shane gave it to him for christmas. Told him this one machine will replace his gramaphone, rotary telephone, and typewriter all in one.
On that list Frank's looking at are all the recruits about to receive a Western Union telegram.
/ducks
Finally. I'm pretty sure Horse on a Treadmill was tired of being Frank's personal Pony Express.
Although, UVA's recruits still get smoke signals.
Puff...Puff-Puff...Puff-Puff...Giant Puff
(Y...O...U...!!!)
Wasn't so bad after he became skinny Frank.
Edited: missed the earlier pony express joke
It really isn't very near to him. It is almost out of arms reach. It might even be the reporter's
What a View!
That picture gives us all a great perspective on what the view from there will be once the Indoor Facility is completed (I believe it'll be where the dead grass is to the left, correct?
We all would give our left... you know... for that office view!!
Welp. I already had a reason to hate Michigan. After reading this article and the comments, I now have a reason to respect anOSU....ok ok tOSU. Assimilation completed.
Ehhhh.... still anOSU. I have some respect for them, but let's not get crazy here.
Exactly why I said "respect" and not "liked". I dont think I have the ability to actually like anOSU. And that was probably the only time I'll ever use the "t"
I don't know if I've ever met an OSU fan in real life, but I kind of assumed they were all Aholes. The comments on the article kind of made me change my mind though.
I thought so too. The interview had good questions and was respectful. But I am sure there is/are other blogs that aren't so nice.
Agreed. I also liked that the one comment used Drago to illustrate his point. I prefer to be Rocky anyway :)
There are two main types of Suckeye fans. Went to school there, family went there, some kind of connection, awesome people great tailgates etc. Have no connection in any way, family, going there etc assholes.
Lived in Columbus for seven years.
Had a great experience with Nebraska fans the night before the game at Lane and from the quality of the posts there, I expect a lot of class from OSU fans as well.
Looking forward to hosting the home and home.
Sounds like Frank reads TKP to join in the YOU!VA mocking.
I get the impression he doesn't like those fellows.
