I cant blame the media on this one. Honest mistake. TECH has been representing the state of VA well for a while.
Best case scenario played out, IMO. LOLUVA makes it to game 3 of the championship series and loses. Heartbreaking! Boo hoo(s).

Honestly it was a win-win situation for me. Either I was going to be able to bask in the Hoo tears or I was going to be only slighty angry and be able to say at least the ACC got it done. I much prefer this outcome though.
Speaking of Who? tears, did anyone see that crying kid in game 1 during that awesome inning of UVA pitching? It was GLORIOUS
UPDATE: I took a cap of it from DVR'ing the start of the 2nd game, it's not as long as it was on the original broadcast, but still...priceless

I actually got a chance to interview this kid. He said the reason he was crying wasn't the baseball game it was "because my parents are raising me to be a UVA fan and the pain of it just finally sank in". Rumor has it that he has already been formerly offered by TimeCop.

Poor kid just realized his parents were lying to him this whole time, YouVA is not the promised land for him. He's beginning to question whether the other things his parents told him about are real: Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, and the Tooth Fairy.
With the win they would have clinched the Capital One Cup for UVA. Glad they can't hold that over us.
I wonder if all the "fans and supporters" starting behaving apathetic after the 1st loss to vandy.

I grudgingly admit, it was a great season by the UVA baseball team...they should take a few days to unwind and party, Wahoo-style...
I would be pissed if UVA football goes to a national championship before TECH after a decade of dominance by the Hokies. In lacrosse, baseball, ping-pong, Badminton, gymnastics, ballet , I can turn a blind eye.
