If you're going to be in the top 10 or so rows just go on and get the top row. The back wall gives you a backrest and you have a place to set all your empty airplane bottles. You can still see the action pretty well and you have a great view of the campus/surrounding area.
There's not a bad seat in Lane.

Top of West is nicer than top of east. At top of west you have partial cover if it starts raining, and you are nowhere near as high. Closer to the field is always better.
