This win was new boobies, old bourbon, and not getting ripped off buying a decent and hopefully dependable new car all baked into one incredible cake that we needed to eat like no team has ever needed a cake. I'm not even sure this is an overreaction, either. Everyone knows our struggles, everyone knows the kool aid that ESPN was helping the nation drink coming into the Colombus last night. Only a few people started putting salt in their drinks starting yesterday, paving the way for maybe-a-win. Maybe a close game. Well they keep saying that close only counts in horse, shoes, and hand grenades, right?
We brought our own horse, he was on a treadmill, and they didn't have anything close to matching it. We walked into their Shoe, then we ran a mile over it, leaving them jumping up and down on one foot hollering in the back ground while we crossed that finishing goal line. Again, wasn't close. And hand grenades? After that pass Brewer through around the sidelines to Sam Rogers for a much needed first down, I am not concerned about the threat of grenades from the hands of mortals. Not even close.
That said, it was a close game for longer than it needed to be. Ohio State definitely had me mentioning some angina to my friends in the fourth quarter. Of course, Sam Rogers must have over heard and misheard me, because he promptly was not denied. Thank you, sir.
