If there was one week to park your butt on the couch and marathon some college football, this is that week. It started last night with Arizona's upset win over Oregon in Autzen. With the turmoil in Michigan the last week, it only rubs salt into their wounds. If they would have just been a bit more patient with Rich Rodriguez, they may have had a special team right now.
The games continue on Saturday with 6 games between Top 25 teams. It is also the week where the SEC teams cannibalize themselves or a team separates themselves from the pack.
For the Virginia Tech at UNC Game, here are the Local Affiliates carrying the ACC Network.
For those in the DC area looking to catch the game on the radio, remember that due to the Nationals making the playoffs, the game will NOT be carried on 106.7.
With Nats-Giants schedule set, our broadcast of Hokies vs UNC will air in DC on @WNEW, 99.1 FM on Saturday starting at 11 a.m. #VTvsUNC— Bill Roth (@VTVOICE) October 2, 2014

Too bad Oregon can't win the natty. SO many uniform choices but their O-line might be worse than ours.. It was refreshing to see an O-line play that bad and it not be the Hokies.
"refreshing to see an o-line play that bad" <-- would love to have this problem.
Looking forward to seeing the SEC games tomorrow - Especially the game at The Grove, and the Mizzippi State game.
That space bar will really get after ya.
Just kidding. Thanks for putting this all in one convenient place.
Yeah, I'm not sure why the spaces got stripped out of those cells. I went back and fixed 'em. Hopefully I got them all.
We want Miami to win Vs GT right???? Because if GT wins then they will have the head to head vs us or is it way to early to think that way.
I want Miami to be perennially second place in the Coastal. I want GT to be next to last every year.
Also, it would benefit us to have GT lose, so, there's that. Never too early to want CPJ to get chopped.
Right now GT is 1-0 in conference. We are 0-1. To regain complete control of our destiny in the division, we need them to lose two games. The theory being that if we win out and end with one loss, then if they are 7-1, they would beat us in tiebreakers, but if they were 6-2, we'd win on better record.
At the minimum, we need GT to lose a conference game (any conference game) just to even have a chance at winning the division. In that scenario, we would have to be in a multi team tie (typical #goacc), but it's way too early to think about that.
I've broken down the destiny control scenarios here: http://cfarena.blogspot.com/2014/09/week-5-wrap-up-part-1-acc-and-sec.html
So, it looks like we want to see W's for Miami and Pitt. Pitt's got next week off too, so their next game is us. We don't want them pissed off from a loss. Plus, a Pitt win means a UVA loss.
Def want Miami to win, and then with another likely loss to Clemson in November if they don't lose again before that, we will have our path to the coastal in our hands. However, we still gotta win every week, starting with UNC revenge.
Syracuse is a comedy of errors...
Don't forget about Wake Forest. They're equally as bad, if not worse. Almost lost to Army. Never a good sign
Two safeties in one game! I've never seen that outside of a video game.
I'm not even sure I've seen it there...
Ole Miss is everything UVA aspires to be, yet fails miserably at.
Edit: Oh goodness. Katy Perry as a guest picker is soooooo awkward.
Nm....she just pulled out a plate of corndogs fir the lsu/auburn game. That was amazing.
Why does the ACC Network studio guy keep saying that UNC won the last two meetings in Chapel Hill? The only time UNC has beaten us in their stadium was 2012. The last time we played there before that was 2010, when we went 8-0 in conference.
Who wants the bet that A&M will still be a top 15 team after getting absolutely smashed by Miss St. The pre-season rankings definitely help the SEC look the best..
Didn't see that coming...
Looking at how far USCe fell after aTm smashed THEM, I wouldn't count on that. I say they go to 19.
Ole Miss with a great win over Bama!
#RollTears
I love it
Nothing better than watching Bama lose
Oklahoma loses to TCU.
TODAY BE CRAY, Y'ALL!
Never thought I would say this... but go Canes?
The way I look at it, I'm not rooting for Miami to win. I'm rooting for GT to lose.
Good point. I hate them both. Lately though I hate GT more.
I'm done.

What the hell happened there?
Miami wishes they had Bud Foster, and Duke still had Ted Roof.
Freshman QB doesn't help.(edit: I only saw the stat line and the final INT)Dude, Georgia Tech just flat outplayed Miami. They were simply the better team on offense. They got outcoached and outplayed. Miami's defense looks very suspect (what else is new). This loss isn't on Kaaya, I would just tip my hat to the better team
for sure.. Can't win when GT TOP is double yours. However wtf is Miami's D coordinator doing on 3rd and 3.. this is how he lines up. bahahah
Basically begging them to run the ball. I trust that they did on this play lol
Also, anyone who knows anything about defending the option knows that it's all about assignment football. Each defender has a gap responsibility. There were numerous occasions were multiple defenders were all staring at Justin Thomas and not taking the pitch man. Very frustrating to watch when you're rooting for the Bees to take a loss.
What a crazy day in cf! 2, 3, 4, 6, and possibly 8 (ucla) losing. Makes the back to back losses for us even bitter. Had we won both of them, we would be top ten for sure, maybe top even top five, when polls come out tomorrow. Damn damn damn. Oh well.
I don't even care about the ECU one...I'd really love to have that GT game back.
I agree, ecu sucked but I can swallow it (with bourbon) but gt is now going to hurt. I don't like living in a world where uva and gt have more acc wins.
So much of college football is "IF." OSU fans were screaming IF we had Braxton ya know... or IF Tech didn't put themselves in a hole so early against ECU...We could play this game all day. I hear what you're saying, but we weren't a very good team two weeks ago and that's the bottom line. We deserved what we got and yeah it hurts not being undefeated to this point, but ya gotta move on. Still so much football left to play. No sense living in the past
You're right, and I have moved on but sometimes I can't help thinking about the "what if." That's part of the fun, right?
11 of the AP Top 25 list this weekend...
THIS WAS THE MOST GLORIOUS WEEKEND OF COLLEGE FOOTBALL. LOSE ALLLL THE GAMES!
Stanford, LSU, and Nebraska are the only three that lost to teams ranked above them.
I love watching LSU lose. Thank goodness for Malzahn.
The state of Mississippi is better than the state of Alabama, maybe? We'll find out, they all play each other.
Many of you aren't but I'm a Notre Dame fan. The fourth quarter of this one happened at the same time as the fourth quarter of Ole Miss/Alabama. Both were epic. ND WR was Danny Coale-level open on the game winning TD. If you can find his postgame interview from the field, he's pretty funny about it too. Fighting Irish have a WR Fuller.
WR Devin Fuller for UCLA had 3/95/1 and he's very very fast. Utah somehow won, even though UCLA has a Fuller.
I always thoroughly enjoy seeing Wisconsin lose, and yesterday was no different. Hey Northwestern, how do you lose to Cal and Northern Illinois but beat Penn State and Wisconsin?
Michigan lost to Rutgers. They're not going to go bowling this year. They still have to play NW'ern, OSU, Michigan State. Hoke is done for.
Arizona will vault up the rankings if they beat USCw next weekend to go 6-0. Not because USCw is any good, but everyone will overvalue a win over USCw.
GT is 5-0. Ugh. No worries, they're just now getting into the meat of their schedule and get NCST from the Atlantic.
Lots to be excited about coming up this year.
Change Northwestern to Virginia Tech, "Cal and Northern Illinois" to ECU and GT, and "Penn State and Wisconsin" to Ohio State.
Just found this one - how about Cal vs. Wash U, 60-59? Cal had two kickoff return TDs and the WSU QB threw for a D-I record 734 yards. Wow.
