Weather Warnings and stuff

A lot of you probably dunno yet, the mid atlantic is about to get hit pretttttty hard with some storms. I attached a page to the NWS radar (particularly of the southeast). These storms are going to trend northward, this coupled with all of the available heating over the course of the day is building up a lot of potential for our area. My colleagues (who are admitidly a little better at this than me) are putting the bullseye on the hampton area. Weekly weather report will be out later tonight and I'm going to go over tornadic potential in squall lines. But basically you'll see a long line of storms most likely (these are called a squall line) and they're usually just rain/hail/straight line winds. However if you see a blip come off of the squall line, that still appears red in color you've got another problem. Those are called discrete cells, discrete cells do have some tornadic potential and should winds keep adjusting like they are and the ground continues to warm up (LIKE IT IS) there will be plenty of potential there for tornadoes (not saying there WILL be one, but there is a possibility) regardless, do heed the national weather services warnings and watches, they are legitamate. I've already been scoffed at a few times today because "it seems nice out" but trust me, particularly in the virginia beach area. Theres a reason they're spitting these things out.
