First it was North Carolina , now the University of Syracuse 's men's basketball and football programs are under NCAA investigation for allegations, including providing extra benefits and academic issues, that date back at least 10 years. Syracuse will go before the NCAA's Committee on Infractions in Indianapolis on Oct. 30-31.

Even after getting dominated by Miami of TURSDAY NIGHT ,is VIRGINIA Tech the only university running a clean program in the ACC?

Don't even start that. This reeks of what you would see posted on the UVa message boards after a loss. Just don't do that. This is not the time.
personally, I believe virtually every program violates/bends the rules to one extent or another. including us. it's just that the blatant violators get punished. VT got in trouble under Dooley, I hope it doesn't happen again.
Two universities with allegations and investigations doesn't mean everyone but us isn't clean lol
Still have to respect the fact. 10 win seasons look a lot better to me these days, so I definitely don't mind enjoying a clean program; at least while we still have that.
I don't know, but I think Wake Forest runs a pretty clean program. They willingly sacrifice athletics to have good academics.
Can't recall trouble from Boston College unless I'm forgetting something.
NC State either.
Jim Valvano. Chuck Amato.
Thanks for reminding.
BC, then?
Betting scandal in 1996.
They were BE then. What since 2005?
I know that I don't want the NCAA to come sniffing around Blacksburg.
I'm all but convinced that there isn't a program in the country that is 100% clean.
We may not have major problems like USC/UNC etc. but there's that saying about stones and glass houses...
That you'd have to be stoned to build a house out of glass?
That sounds about right.
There's no way UVA could be that consistently bad by cheating.
